It's crazy to think how different the prototype was from the final game. I have a lot of nostalgia for the game we got and I still enjoy it for what it is, but I really wish they explored this concept fully.
Dude same! I more so just always dreamed and hoped for it to be made proper and released like we saw here. Just having that bit of hope that the source code was still at their offices or something and they could go back to it or that it would be released somehow.
I love Rayman Raving Rabbids as it is, but seeing the prototype, I believe it could've been a better game only these concepts were more thoroughly explored.
So, in first concepts the game should be an action game similar to Rayman 3, but developers thinked: "why not to make Wii's potential at full? So let's make a party game!". Maybe better if RRR was an action game, not Mario Party parody. And yes, beware! At 5:17 there is *Undertale reference!*
I think that honestly they overestimated the actual power of the Wii and scrapped whatever they had up to that point and made something the Wii could actually handle.
@@TVGN20000 In the prototype for Rayman 4 that leaked last Christmas, the files did indicate that the game was also going to be on Xbox 360. In fact, booting up the prototype shows that you need to press the X button b and the X button is blue too! Just like an Xbox 360 one! But then again, the game was meant for the Wii, but was just meant to be on 360 as well.

It would've been an insane game but Instead we got tons of minigame parties that destroyed Rayman's franchise. I mean.... I like them overall, but I would've prefer the Rabbids as a villain and Rayman as a protagonist in a new full adventure like the first prototypes :((((( Still waiting about a possible Rayman 4 tho XD
If Rayman 4 was released it would've been legendary it would. 1. Remove the rabbids because they're a minor enemy likely. 2. Continued with the 3d series and focused on Rayman. 3. Made Murfy make sense. 4. Possibly made Rayman playable in smash brothers due to popularity. Other than the negatives the positives are that the fans are such dedicated hard working people that are willing to make Rayman noticed again and I can tell that its possible that the fans will remake Rayman 4 out of this.
Well, it will be like Dinosaur Planet: many fans could get the prototype but they will be obliged to create the end because the game doesn't have one (Rayman 4 and Dinosaur Planet didn't have time to write the end before becoming the good games we know today).
