Man, Rayman used to be all about epic adventures and fantastic locations, with robot pirates and thieving hoodlums. When the Rabbid series came out, I felt betrayed.
Yea he did get downgraded a bit if you see this trailer. Nothing like Rayman 3, where he was tougher. He's supposed to fight the rabbids, not run away from them He only really fought them in the gba version, but in the other consoles he didn't quite opposed them and played mini games with them instead. This wouldn't be a problem if he fought them on ALL consoles and he somehow tamed the rabbids in that first game. Ubisoft made a good game with the rabbids, but the storyline is wrong for Rayman
This game was not only a terrible game but an insult to the Rayman series. No surprise the Rabbid thing didn't take off as much as Ubisoft wanted it to.
I know this video was like 13 years old, but I have a theory about why is Rayman running from the rabbids instead of attacking them,Oh yeah, this MAY have spoilers from Rayman 2 and it is a large text: Ok in the manual of Rayman 2,It is said that Rayman lost his powers due to the robo pirates destroyed the heart of the world and then he got captured, so the thing is that in Rayman raving rabbids 2 the rabbids go to the human world and it seems like Rayman raving rabbids tv party is a sequel to that game, what I mean is that the heart of the world doesn't exist in the Earth, that's why Rayman doesn't attack the rabbids in Rayman raving rabbids 2 and in tv party. no.. he didnt actualy forgot who he is. he said DAAAAAAH because he had to save his skin.. the commander said to rayman to get in the sub because he didnt know rayman was himself because of the scream... he acted like the rabbids so he can foil the rabbid's plans. when the rabbids found out that it was rayman who foiled all the plans they chased rayman.
@gluetube365 i think this expailes why he lost his courage. at frist ray wanted to stop the rabbid but rabbids are like rabbits they breed like crazy. so he's figting a never ending army. so most likey he got sick of having to fight them over and over again and it never got anywere. now he probaly wants to get the hell away from them. (plus if you had to be stuck around the rabbids they would drive you to the brake of insanity i bet that happend to rayman in this part of the story )

I think he's running because he saw their true nature, the joking and fun loving of theirs is only a cover. They could be alot more dangerous than his past enemies. It's just UbiSoft decided not to show their true selves yet.
I think the bunnies should leave Rayman and they can do their party games without Rayman and Rayman can do his platformers without the Rabbids. THAT would make the most people happy, and not just the Rabbid fans.
i love the random humor, and i love the rabbids... but i dont like what they are doing to Rayman. Raving Rabbids should be what "Mario Party" is to Mario, to Rayman, a series of very funny minigames we all like, but not the main series. The "Rayman" name in this series is pointless when Rayman just apears in a few cutscenes I think Rabbids should leave Rayman alone and have their own series Un.n. And i hope Rayman 4 appears some day, and for the wii n-n
gotta admit this is good animation. the truth is the rabbids have ditched rayman and are starring in thier own game. It'd be good if ubisoft gave rayman to someone like me. then they would be good. even better if they didnt forget about him and made a game starring him

What Ubisoft should've done is to make a good platformer of Rayman & the rabbids first and THEN make party games like the current RRR games. They did that with Rayman 2 followed by Rayman M, If they did that, I bet less people would've complained So in short, the whole rabbids trilogy just misses one game that can revive Rayman for the hardcore fans without seperating Rayman from the rabbids. We miss a 3D platformer game of RRR. Only the gba has it, but all the other major platforms don't
So after this game did Rayman just give up on saving earth from the rabbids? By origins he is in the glade of dreams. But the rabbids are still on earth causing trouble.
I am SOOOOO angry at Ubisoft. They not only changed Rayman's luck and the quality of his role but they changed his PERSONALITY! How stupid is that? "Ooh! I know! Let's replace Rayman with giant, annoying rabbits that violate copyright laws and do really random things and try too hard to be funny! Let's call call them Rabbids and use them to turn Rayman into a laughing stock!" "Hmmm... Good idea! Let's do it!" How much did the person who thought this was a good idea bribe Micheal Ancel?
What happens to rayman at the end because i can't find him on any other games any more. BRING BACK RAYMAN!!!! (ecxept for RR2) Did the rabbids leave him behind and then they traveled through time?
well it does sounds real and I have to admit that was the first thing I was thinking rayman would do but in the gamplay he was acting exactly like all the rabbids I lost hope for him...apparently he was on track all the time lol
in the begining of the second game he finds the bunnies headquaters thinking on a way to get inside, so he puts white socks on his hair to look like rabbid ears and breaths a heliom sack to have a pitched bunnie voice, he almost get cought by the leader but in the final moment rayman goes DAAAAAAAHHH! and the bunnie tells him to enter the submarine with the bunnies to invade the earth. and in the he does crazy stuff with the rabbids 'till he got cought by the rabbids and starts running.
I know what you're saying, only that I hated the fact that Rayman's personality changed and the Rabbids are harassing him. Rayman was my favourite character of all time and the Rabbids have now reduced and degraded him to a helpless, annoyed reck who doesn't save the world anymore. I loved his games, and his character, so it pains me to see him go to waste in such a terrible way like this.
I'm mostly sad then angry. Sad that some person thought that it was a good idea to completly degrade the character that I like so much- the one that brought me into the world of computer games. The one whose pride I backed up in the Sonic Ends Rayman comments-and replace him with giant bunnies. And when I post a comment in Rayman's good name, I get insulted. I am not here to make a fight, but I only posted this pointless comment in the hope that you understand how sad I am.
@gluetube365 i think 2 would make the most sense but also rayman had the power to stop the black lums by turning them back into red lums. (also i don't know what happens in rayman 3 1/2 cause i never played it) i think they should just now stop making rabbid games since they went home apparently. but here's a good idea why don't they make mr.dark, razor beard and andre (black lum) team up and try to stop rayman.

hey guys imagen rayman was running with globox . Globox foot get stuck then rayman stops but then globox says " RUN RAYMAN FORGET ABOUT ME IM DONE FOR RUUUN" then rayman runs for his life then globox says " mother fucker left me son of a bitch " globox struggles to free his foot but then it was to late for globox while rayman was running he heard globox scream and so he knew globox was done for so he kept running for his life :D
Nah, it's ok that they were brought in the Rayman games, BUT..... Ubisoft did it the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, I play the raving rabbid games and they're damn funny. Lawl, I even bought a real plunger for the hell of it. But lets stick with the point here Ubisoft made a slight mistake when they released Rayman Raving Rabbids. These games contain nothing but minigames and the aspect of the platformer Rayman we all know is somewhat wrecked. (To be continued on my next comment....)
