I miss being a kid, nostalgia must be the closest thing to happiness for me, a careless time when the only thing that worried me was beating the last boss, and what was for dinner. I think there's a word for it, saudade, It's a beautiful word.
This was such a beautiful level. Sure, I died dozens of times, but I really enjoyed playing it nonetheless. The buckets of rainbow paint just sitting around were beautiful, and the eraser platforms with broken pencils sticking out of them and little bits picked out... And to top it off a great soundtrack and unique level design that never got repetitive. 10/10 Rayman is one of the greatest 2D platformers of all time.
1:10 that part is so beautiful, it almost makes me cry every time I listen to it. When I was a child, I was like "whoaaa, that's magic !". I played it in 2011. Same reaction :-)
im 18 the fortunate thing was i grew up playing games that were actually good (not every game was just another fps which are designed for my age but seem to attract more kids) my childhood was made up of many games rayman, crash bandicoot, spyro, mario 64, pokemon, tomb raider, tekken, zelda and oddworld I love rayman so much i think i have two copies of it somewhere in my house :) ahh the good times
Lol how sick was the last song on this track where they used actual sounds from making art and made a song out of it. That's just a great idea on the music composers part
Part of CB reminds me of this. Especially the wall which resembled a wall of pencils. The intro to the stage had pieces which resembled pencils as well.
LOL!!! it used to be for my cousin scott too lol, he was like 12 when i was about 5 n i used to watch him play it, he couldnt get past teh dream forest level lol, but being 5, i thought ALL the levels were like that xD i didnt realize there were more awesome ones till i got the game myself!!!!!!
im 16 and i finished this game to the point where there were no more lvls Available without collecting all the Cages. And my god This is how a game should be Fuck COD and all its repetitiveness This had real music composed for the game and it was such a simplistic Design Done Really well rather than a complicated Design Dont moderately well or to a poor standard
