Raymond Damadian's intense curiosity and passion for science led him to develop the first MR (Magnetic Resonance) Scanning Machine-one of the most useful diagnostic tools of our time. MR scanners use radio signals emitted from the body's cells to enable a non-invasive mapping of the human body in meticulous detail. For his pioneering work in magnetic resonance scanning technology, Raymond Damadian was awarded the Lemelson-MIT Program's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001.

RIP dr. Damadian ❤️❤️❤️ and thank you for proofing my hypothesis of April 2010 on the atlas being the cause for MS! Your research report on this Matter, of 2011, I have spread and talked about. Now hoping someone is picking it up in the Netherlands and some professors are indeed taking your experiences into their investigation on the zone of the atlas... 🌹🌹🌹

His invention was sollen by the Nobel comitee.Alfred Nobel dedicated the award only for Christians,but the Nobel comitee today consist of mostly jews.

@levonet33, He was snubbed because he was a Young Earth Creationist probably, not because he was a Christian. He could have been a Muslim or Jewish Young Earth Creationist also. Most prominent scientists today are atheist/agnostic and only about 20% are Jews.

Anonymous I met Dr. Damadian at his home a handful of times. He always struck me as friendly if somewhat occupied, and quite grounded. Although I don't share his views regarding religion, I have respect for the man and the strength of his convictions.

So crazy to see videos of this man. I worked for his company (STANDUP-MRI - Fonar) met him briefly as an elderly gentleman and am now studying him to pass my MR exam lol crazy.
