Dusty, you are spot on...Floss has me watching reviews I could care less about...its' just that energy and excitement for the product that is hard to resist.
@@UntamedOutlooks The XREAL Air2 series has the electrochromic outer lens dimming, and I don't recall Floss mentioning that in the video for the RayNeo's. Also, XReal has software that you can optionally use to do multiscreen in AR when using a PC/laptop. I am not sure about the RayNeo jawns. I will say that the RayNeo's can connect to Apple devices without an adapter is nice. Otherwise, it looks like the same product with small stylistic differences. Without messing with the RayNeo in my hands... It's the same product, perhaps a knockoff, and you probably not missing anything if you already got the current gen XREALs. Maybe Floss will address it on one of his Sunday streams.
BRO - You can't just throw out, "Now if you got a Easter Island sized head" comment and keep it pushing. I had to pause the video because I was dying laughing!! Caught me off guard with that one - almost spit out my coffee on my laptop bruh! You gotta warn a brotha! LMAO!!!
One of the best straight forward no bs reviews I’ve watched. I watch reviews on everything and 75% of them consist of someone describing their life story or peddling their patreon.
Glad to see this I was comparing the Xreal 2, the Virtue and the rokids a few weeks back. These seem to top them all and at a better price. Thanks Floss

I know they're not AR glasses, but I love the Ray Ban Metas for shooting video hands free. I used them on a cruise I took last month I might need actual glasses so I would just get them fitted with prescription lenses
Great review as usual my guy. Will wait for a refinement of the product before I pull the trigger. 1st & 2 nd gen usually has issues or compromises. So playing it safe by being patient.
I’ve spent thousands because of this dude & tbh each purchase was as dope as he described it. Real shit appreciate your reviews man! Best tech reviews on YT hands down
I used these on my flight to Japan (11 hrs) I can't imagine how I ever dealt with flights in the past. You can buy an adapter that lets you plug in a charger and the glasses at the same time as well. Worth it!
@@FlossyCarter A reply from Flossy!? I'm stoked. Just some of the reasons I love his guy: In depth long form reviews on technology from various sectors. Has a cat. He's entertaining and funny . Can explain technology in ways that anyone can understand yet us geeks still appreciate (rare skill). Covers popular tech gadgets as well as less known niche items for people to learn about. Seems very down to earth (even though he reviews every tech item under the sun that he wants to, he still gives us the perspective as an everyday person who when they purchase what is often a decent investment). Just in general, I am a huge tech nerd, I know a lot about the latest stuff. I still learn about new gadgets from Flossy because he has an eye for new tech that I may not have known about and his perspective is valuable. Before buying anything, I look for a Flossy Carter review to determine how major of a go it is or isn't.
I bought these and liked them, but kept having focusing issues. I had to move the glasses around a lot to get the right focus. But now I just got the Viture Pro XR glasses, and I'm enjoying these a lot more. They have dials for each lens to get the focusing right for your eyes, they have a feature where you can actually watch content in 3D, the screens are brighter, and the presentation is great. I enjoyed the RayaNeos a lot, but the focusing was driving me crazy. I think the Viture Pro XR are worth the extra price. Also I got a free controller with it too.
The Rokid version has dials to adjust eyesight bypassing the need of contacts or adding prescription lenses, extra accessories like the hub/battery help you save your phone’s battery life .
I do have a question floss dudes wearing those for any kind of extended period of time make you feel nauseous does it give you motion sickness at all Just curious
@@FlossyCarter awesome that's dope thank you I remember when AR glasses first came out you could slide your phone into him I tried them for the first time I was like wow after 15 minutes I was sick for the rest of the day dude like crazy headache extremely nauseous just something I never felt before
You can not compare those to apple Vision Pro or Meta Quest. 3. There is a big difference between AR and VR technology. I do agree with the size . Wait until VR is available on the size factor like those RayNeo. For now, you are just looking at a large display, which is cool in itself.
I love these and may get them at some point. Just an observation; you can still see what you're watching on your primary screen. If you're on public, utilizing a privacy screen for your primary screen would give some sense of security
I guess you already answered my question can you use those with the iPhone 15 Pro Max so the answer is yes you can cause I saw you plug in the USB one connected to the iPhone 15 Pro Max
Haven't watched one of your videos in a while and here I am now wanting these! This is why I stopped watching. I was going broke lol nice work Floss, Shoes! Top notch as always! Now I gotta get me a set of these dope ass AR glasses!
Ngl those are pretty sick. Thanks for the review. Floss you always keep it 100. My only issue with that price tag is if I'm droppin a couple hundred on some glasses I'd expect to get a hard carrying case and not some cloth sleeve. Aside from that I'm real interested.
