where do you get the dolby atmos and does it only work with the Kraken? Also, I'm struggling with the mic on the blackshark v2 pro its not the same as my old headset arctis 5 which everyone says I'm crystal clear on so does the mic on the kraken that much better?

Once you experience haptics on a gaming headset, there's no going back. I upgraded to the Kraken V3 Pro from my Nari Ultimate, and love it. Haptics is improved, but the Nari Ultimate is still more comfortable.

Thanks for the comparison, which is the only one I could really find on RU-vid. I have the Blackshark V2 Pro and was looking for something that has more features and USB-C charging. For Dolby Atmos, what is the URL for downloading that application?

You can go to the Microsoft store and get Dolby Access. In the Dolby Access app you can buy Dolby Atmos.

I had the wired blackshark v2 for a little bit, enjoyed it because it was so light, but yeah, the haptic feedback is lots of fun for me :)

How do you rate them after you got them for yourself?? I'm looking at these right now and I'm very interested in the Haptic feedback. But it's for more of a single player experience..and anything to make gaming more fun 👍

You don't even need the hypersense to experience how great audio sounds with the Kraken V3 Pro. It's got to be the best headset for gaming I've found all around.

Idk about the tournament edition. But sound quality ok the KV3 Pro is really nice. It has more clarity than the BlackShark.

Hey! I can't speak for the Logitech G Pro X unfortunately because I haven't owned it, but in my opinion the Kraken V3 Hypersense is better than the Blackshark V2 pro. Hope this helps! 😁

Yes, all the way. The audio sounds clearer IMO. If you want bass without hypersense and you don't care about the treble, then BlackShark will be fine for you as I think the Kraken is lower on stand alone bass since it has hypersense.

i also heard that this headset having an issue after a month of use it gives crackling noise and buzzing sounds like the haptic feedbacks gives problem. is that true bcs i want to buy this headset soon

I haven't gotten a cracking or buzzing yet, but I've only had it for maybe 2-3 months as of this comment. I have encountered issues where it randomly disconnects on my PC if I switch from a RU-vid video to a game and back and forth. It was annoying for sure. Turning the headset on and off fixes it but I'm surprised Razer hasn't fixed this by now. I will say that I do use the headset extensively.

Blackshark has a better mic but I would say the kraken noice cancels more

On my Nari exp haptics are fun but ruins directional awareness on footsteps for shooters it's fine on single player games

Interesting, I haven't paid attention to that specifically. I'll test it out. I will say when I want to get sweaty in a game that I do tend to turn haptics off or place them on the lowest setting.

If you purchase dolby software and adjust the eq settings of the headset on there, do those adjustments carry to the console?

I'm not sure I understand the question, but it seems you're asking "if I change EQ settings on my headset on my PC will they transfer to my gaming console?" I don't know to be honest. I wouldn't think so unless EQ settings are stored locally on the head set. I doubly it, but I don't know for sure. Sorry :/

Hello I always read everywhere in the Internet, that kraken V3 pro have issues with the sound goes off from a video to another, that the synapse 3 crashes with the THX, problem with synapse that freeze chroma, when you listen music and close it and then after 10 sec play again,you can’t hear and you need to reopen the headset to listen. Is all this true?? Thank you.. all internet says staff like this. please tell me because maybe I will buy this product.. thank you

Hey, I have used the headphones to edit videos, play games, watch videos, listen to music, etc. and I haven't had any issues with them at all. But I don't use THX, I use Dolby Atmos.

Hey so after a couple of months now, I did start seeing an issue where it will disconnect from my game if the game crashes for whatever reason, so I'll have to turn my headset off and then back on to reconnect it. It was annoying at first but turning them off and then back on works just fine so I have no issues with that.

Okay so shortly after my former comment, it started working just fine 🤷‍♂️. I haven't had any more issues at all with it. So whatever it was seems to have been fixed.

nari ultimate is the older version of the kraken v3 pro... basically kraken v3 pro is the modern version of nari ultimate

I have never used the Nari :/ but they say the Kraken is indeed better as far as sound and battery if you go wireless.

I can answer for you. I have tested both of them. The Nari was more comfy, but you really look weird because how big they are it's kinda funny. The haptic, I have more fun with the Nari, but not by much. The clarity, this I cannot give you a proper answer because I didn't try Dolby Atmos with the, Nari, but with the Kraken V3 Pro they sound great!

Well tbh I have not used either with Zoom in particular, however, using the Kraken for work via the AUX for Skype meetings worked well. I asked colleagues how it sounds and they said it sounded just fine. On a regular basis I've worn it for 10+ hours. I'd say something to consider is if you want the RGB to show up during your video call because it looks cool 🤷‍♂️ then the Kraken has it. Other than that, I think for meeting purposes either would be fine.

On which one? The Kraken V3 pro or the Balckshark? I assume you mean the Kraken because it's got the faux leather. So far they look fine but it's too early to tell, but thank you :) I'll definitely keep an eye out on that!

@@mrpennypicker I've had the Kraken since June 2021 and I've had to glue the headphones to the band on both sides. the adjustment number has micro-cracks. Keep the receipt because razer won't work with you without it

Just picked up the KV3P’s and I’m rolling RU-vid videos from creators to see what they think I’m a TikTok live streamer and typically play BR competitive but also love RPG’s My opinion is that that previous Haptic headset (Nari Uktimate) which I still use is more immersive and has better audio quality - with a stronger Balance of Bass and Haptic feedback. I’m kind of sad because I was super excited about the KV3P’s new sleeker look but after spending an hour in Synapse 3 tinkering with the mixer I have determined there is a big difference in the two - favoring the Nari’s.
