Got some very cool RGB lighting on that. Bit pricey though. They could have included some kind of LCD or used a bit more of a premium material in the keycaps or chassis.

I noticed that TKL or 75% models are more widely reviewed here compared to the full sized model. I have the full size model on order and all of my other keyboards are all full sized mainly because I do make use of almost all the keys on the numpad in most of the games I play (mainly FPS). But sometimes I do wish the keyboard was a little smaller in certain scenarios so i may just try a TKL in future. I have to say I really like the inky jet black matte finish on this keyboard and i noticed that Razer has really leveled up when it comes to RGB as I have always regarded Corsair's iCue as having the best RGB all these years.

I just picked one of these up today, and I have never wanted to just sit and type in a google doc more than I do right now. It is the most satisfying keyboard I have ever typed on or used. Granted, I got this keyboard for about $130 U.S., meaning it is a way better value to me, but even at the $190 sticker price I think it is almost worth it.

@kitgurutech, i love my razer stuff, but i've been dealing with their support on getting a replacement phantom keycap, under warranty due to failure, first ticket was opened in September... still cant seem to get the RMA that works.... good luck to any other razer customers. Love this 75% though, but i have found that the keys are starting to double press... :(

@@frostgodxthey’ve sent me RMA’s but their internal systems are broken with my account, and they can’t read ANYTHING beyond the last email they sent. It’s terrible.

Would like to see a full size version of this or even a wireless one. Or even better, a full sized wired one with built-in DAC/AMP output like the Fiio KB3. Would be cool if Razer could fit their own THX Onyx into a Blackwidow v5.

I have the Razer Huntsman v2 red linear. Any mod suggestions for things I can do to get the best out of it? O rings, lube, foam(material? ), etc....

There is some thin foam layer, but I think there is no tapemod like on the Blackwidow V4 75%.

Might be the best if the keyboard didn't have a double key press issue. TONS of people on the internet complaining that their keyboard has begun double key pressing issue and they have only had it for a month

So keyboard picture on the box is ansi layout. Do all iso keyboards come with same box and ansi picture on it?

The RGB lightning is not saved to the keyboard memory, You have to use Synapse for that, and export/import on other PCs... Also, ABS keycaps are great for anybody not using the default US/UK layout (the rest of the world), so they can laser etch them. Not having the right layout is trash, no matter how custom the keyboard is.

@@bobsmithson8592 I have it and use the Chroma Studio for the RGB effects. Synapse works normally for me, and Studio is not hard to learn. Not the best ever, but quite OK.

@@Everychillitsjustlife-cz8zz An easy example is when you want to use static RGB but different colors for different keys. Without Synapse you can only have static with one color for all keys... I myself have a Deathstalker V2 Pro TKL with multicolor static + Basilisk V3 and Bungee V3 with very slow Wheel (rotating RGB).

Its a great keyboard, its not perfect, but I like it. Its much better than their previous designs. I would have liked them to spend a bit more on keycaps.

This is a great keyboard but beware. Over the last 8-9 years I’ve purchased the majority of the high end boards as soon as they launch from Razer, Logitech, Steelseries and Corsair. This was by far my favorite I had ever used however over the last month or so it has began double typing letters, just every once in a while at first, now it’s almost every 5th key press or so. Absolutely drove me crazy so and I was extremely bummed because like I said this was my favorite board I had ever used. So it has been shelved for me.

I think this is a documented switch issue. Corsair had a similar problem with some of their boards if memory serves me right.

I also started to get this issue this month. 2 keys only so far and it seems to be fixed by swapping out the Razer Oranges for the Razer Greens. If the pattern holds, the double typing SHOULD be worse with Linear Yellows. But haven't felt the need to try it yet. Just gonna deal with it for now but I'm gonna looking elsewhere for a keyboard that doesn't have a chance of double typing after only 1-3 months of use...

Very disappointing indeed, I've started the RMA process with Razer which has been less than easy so far. Meanwhile I replaced it with the new Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed. Not quite as enjoyable to type on but a very nice board and so far zero issues. @@parttimewarrior8892

Having a USB device that tries to install software when you plug it in is just not a good idea. I just chucked my V2 into the bin last week. Not going that route again.

My ~£200.00 "Metal" keyboards have failed with the plastic feet breaking easily. The Plastic tiny holding the feet they snap as well -----l======l------

$189USD for something that comes standard with tactile switches and you need to spend $25USD more for linear then spend forever to swap the switches? Not everyone wants to build their keyboard and having to do that makes this keyboard a no buy for most people.

@@bobsmithson8592 it only comes with tactile switches installed. If you want linear or clicky you have to buy them separately and swap all the switches out. You can't just buy this with linear switches installed.

It's a cool keyboard but I've been experiencing problems with mine & I have messaged razer about it a few months ago & got a message back 2 weeks ago & then they took another week to respond back & they then gave me a redirection to a different portal & have had issues with having help from them. Overall once in a blue moon, I will be playing then press a keycap & the whole keyboard will restart & also restart my razer raptor 27 inch monitor. Even if I shift my keyboard to have a better playing grip it will still restart it & my razer monitor... I spent 200 on the board itself & it said that Alan Wake 2 would have came with it for free & I did not receive the game after 20 business days, they definetly will milk your money & give false advertisements.

Do you play on carpet perhaps? Ive seen a vid of this problem when you have a static charge and touch the side of the keyboard it disconnects for a second.

@@n0xx390 I do play on carpet but my pc setup is on my desk. But yea, I thought it could be the magnets inside my keyboard that attract the static & thought about removing the magnets out.

Good, but not great. Despite all their sound improvement efforts, only the stabilizers sound noticeably better. The price/value is still not there. Lack of wireless is unforgivable. Lack of metal and north facing RGBs is a bit of a let-down. They are learning, however.

Razer decided some time in 2022 to force everyone to create a razer ID and log into their account to retain their savings on the bloaty software. Of course, many people have already purchased gear from them. I tested it using a new account and a new email and sure enough, I started getting spammed by random emails. Razer data-mines you and, moreover, this practice fucking utterly deplorable to force users to sign up for their account to use the functions on their peripherals without telling disclosing this fact. No one should be buying Razer products until they stop this practice!!!

no idea what your on about you dont even need to install the software to use ANY of the new products or if you really want to customize something (besides RGB) then install, set it, delete it and never look back. The mice no longer have RGB or care. The keyboards have a bunch of stock profiles to cycle through on board so no need for the synapse experience.

@@frostgodx You are mistaken. You can use the product at it's most basic default but without the software, none of your settings are saved. You might not care bout customizing but you need to create an account to use the software to use the product? The settings (customization, macros, RGB configuration) do not save on the hardware. You need to sign up for an account with Razer and use their bloaty software to use their product. Otherwise, why buy Razer

190 quid is quite a lot of Monday for a keyboard! You can buy an entire laptop for that money... Guess you're getting what you pay for and it does look like a very well engineered keyboard but thats a pretty steep price.

this keeyboard sucks. my expeerieencee is horiblee. as i eevene typee you can seeee thee keeys suck. eevery prees is extra. it is so annoying i can not type with this keyboard without eeverery second using th eback space. i want to brreak this keeyboard so much. thee switches it comee with are horrible. sorrry for miss typee but it because this keyboard is horrrible im fustrrated with it
