Note: After finishing my review, I checked out what other creators thought, and to my surprise, the majority seem to dislike this mouse. There are a lot of people who say the mouse is too heavy or pointless. I think the weight is ideal; not everyone wants or needs a superlight; in fact, I personally prefer mice in the 70-80g range, but of course this is always going to be a personal preference. I can understand the price issue, but otherwise, I genuinely think this is a lovely little mouse and one I will absolutely be using often, but to each their own. Thank you for watching, and take care.
I prefer lighter mice and it would be great to at least save even a few grams by removing the rgb (which I have zero use for, edit- and bluetooth while we're at it) but other than that I agree. I'm willing to deal with a little heavier mouse just to have the 2 extra buttons under the scroll wheel. My biggest gripe with all of the new "lightweight pro fps" mice is the lack of that extra button or two.
I liked the look of this when I saw it but it looks really small in your hands. Like a baby version of the Viper. You've done a solid showcase of both this and the Basilisk though, I got to see all the features and get an idea of their size so it's helped me decide which to go for. Thanks Bwo!
Yeah, it is quite a lil guy! Great feature-set and overall quality though. Thank you so much for watching and for the kind comment, I really appreciate it!
I love it. Wish I had that. My favorites are Razer Basilisk, Razer Cobra Pro and Razer Viper Mini. I like the nice that are heavy as they, at least for me act as both work and gaming mouse. And I am a fan but I don't necessarily need that ad I am just a Minecraft gamer. And I don't mind plastic. I say your Basilisk video and this, so I want to know again, which is better?
Good question, for a hybrid mouse I love the Basilisk - it's great for work and also does a pretty good job for gaming too, I love the shape and feel. The Cobra Pro is more of a pure gaming mouse, it's small but feels great to use! Thank you for watching!
Me too, I don't get the hate! I've been using razer products for about 10 years and have always been happy with the quality / features available! This is no different, it's a great little mouse!
We love Razer mice haha, the Razer deathadder essential also seems like another good budget friendly mouse to me but I think it's rather out-dated haha am still looking for some...
We certainly do! They honestly offer such a great mouse range at different prices which is awesome to see! Everyone can get in on the action, haha! I hope they come out with some updated budget-friendly options soon though. Thanks for watching, Mario!
Looking for a new mouse, got a Viper Mini and would like something similar, braided cable, small and lightweight. I was looking for the Cobra, but I heard it's like the mini but cheaper in terms of quality, any suggestions for me ? The scroll wheel is horrible, clicking and scrolling, annoying sound while scrolling and the click is hard and not constant.
Just picked this up for £105, I've been using the razer deathadder essential for 3 years, the upgrade is going to be insane for me I debated getting the new viper v3 hyperspeed but its out of stock and i aint waiting a month Im an rgb goblin too so that swayed me to lmao
I wouldn't recommend the Cobra. I had the Viper Mini for many years and decided to try out this one. The clicks are awful, the skates slide less and the sensor feels less precise. I really don't like it. The only positive thing is that the scroll wheel feels a bit better. RIP Viper Mini, you were the budget GOAT. 😔
