Fantastic review! This mouse is absolutely perfect for me. I have XL hands and I do palm grip. Your review is the first one I always click on. BTW, you are in fantastic shape, King!
This look like THE palm grip mouse, which happens to be the only style I can use. I am on a Superlight and while it´s been amazing in everything, I kinda want more comfort for non shooters.
Video quality is sharp as ever, very nice! As for the mouse, it seems Razer is trying to make more people to use the Deathadder, trying to make it less than a "one size fits all", My first gaming mouse ever was a DA 2013 and since today I find myself coming back to the DA (nowadays I use a DA V2). This V3 Pro seems to be one of the best DA launched, followed by the DA V2 X and the V2 lineup
Razer should make a deathadder v3 mini wired with the new shape of the deathaddver v3 but dimensions should be on the da v2 mini. And yes i love the da v2 mini it’s perfect for my handsize 17x10 and gripstyle of relax claw
I like big mices with tall humps, they are great for people with big hands like me. I currently use Kone Pro Air which is great for big hands. V3 is very tempting and im planning to switch to it, but my only doubt is those small feets, why not make the feet wide? imo wide feet definitely feel better over those small dot feets or whatever :(
Do you notice any digging in to the pad when pushing it hard, thinking of the small mousefeet. It have ruined mice for me before, I push the mouse down very hard in the pad. EC sized skates is what have worked for me before
I had the v2 version and using the 8khz viper but it’s not for me and was thinking of getting the g pro superlight for sometime and just saw this video would you recommend this mouse instead of the g pro super light?
Awesome video! I would love Logitech to come out with a g703 superlight to compete with this! It Was my main for a long time until I got the gprox superlight.
Comming from an EC2-A that's now 4 years old. Nothing wrong with it, but I upgraded all my peripherals except the mouse. Ordered the G Pro X Superlight last year and wasn't very happy with it so returned it and never thought about changing again. I just ordered the V3 Pro because it has so much going for it and as soon as he said "coming from an ec series you will feel at home" I was sold!
@@yazansalman9842 It takes time to get used to the weight, but once you learn to master it, it's a huge upgrade! Really like the mouse and still use it as my main. Shape is still much like any EC-series mouse.
Hope they make a mini version of this mouse for smaller hands. I love my orochi v2 because its so small and easy to handle. If they made a Deathadder v3 mini I would instantly buy!
it's already smaller. the OG deathadder fits bigger hands better, I would say I have smaller hands medium at best and this mouse the V3 feels great for palm users. But to be honest i suppose it depends on your grip preference and this mouse has always catered to palm users.
I just switched yesterday from my super light with corepad skates and I’m loving the switch. The super light is a great mouse but the deathadder just feels nicer especially the side buttons. Also the deathadder comes with excellent feet already there’s really no need to upgrade compared to the super lights stock feet which felt a bit scratchy.
Okay cool and thank you, I got the super light and use the same grip wanted to know if that grip style would be comfortable with the DeathAdder v3 size and shape.
Brandon - I'm not able to save my profile to my DAv3. Just like you, I don't have a save button on the customize screen that I had with my other Razer mice. Are you truly able to save a profile to the onboard memory? I couldn't find a way. Thanks boss
Just got mines today. Used the model D, roccat kone and mained the g703 😡 sadly Logitech don’t wanna superlight the g703 so I made the switch. Ergo mice are my fav for its comfort 😋
i'm using Model D- and i love it but the thing is it has creaking whenever i try to press the side buttons , too bad this one is too big for me and it doesn't have the top Dpi button ( i remapped into another key) .
Awesome review man, I just ordered the white model off of Razer's website for only $125 USD (shipping and taxes included) bc of a student discount lol. How does the white coating on the mouse hold up, is there any staining? At first I was planning to get the black model but the white looks sooo nice
I have 10x18.5 cm Hands and I'm switching from a Roccat Kone Aimo. I like my mice big to be able to have a relaxed palm grip. Do you think this mouse will be good for me?
only reason why i didnt go for a logitech mouse is the wireless charger that the viper pro came with, so i really dont see why i would get a new mouser from razer
Thinking about making the jump to this mouse. Logitech really needs to step up their game, I’ve been waiting for a g703 super light for a year and a half now
I happened to try this mouse at Razer Store SF and I think this is going to replace my Orochi V2. The Orochi v2 is starting to feel too small on my hands anyway
I just replaced my Orochi v2 with The DAv3 and I'm loving it so far. I had the same problem with the Orochi v2 starting to feel a bit too small. This DAv3 fits my hands perfectly and it just feels like a high quality mouse. It's early days but I feel like I'm already more accurate with the larger size.
If you're looking for fingertip grip it would probably be better to go for a smaller ambidextrous mouse. This one is definitely made for claw/palm grips
depends. if you're a casual gamer go for the basilisk. If you play competitive shooters go with this one. Both are really comfortable imo. I lean more towards the deathadder personally.
@@BTaesthetics ahh i see, im a casual gamer tbh, i've used the DA V2 pro and Basilisk ultimate in the past. Just wondering with the new shape change the DA V3 Pro is more comfortable than the previous ones and the basilisk or not
just bought the g pro superlight on amazon for 90€ two days ago. was using my 20€ cable deathadder the last 6 years, now all of a sudden I see all these videos of the deathadder v3. cannot believe my luck XD but the price way to hefty for me anyways
@@michaelschwarz5907 I mean the 4k just makes everything feel smoother in game but I can live without it. I get like 25-35 hours of gameplay with the 4K polling. Very minimal gain imo.
@@khensationalReviews we are at the point of diminishing returns here. everything will cost extra from here on out. i ordered the dav3 because i do not like the implementation of the kailh 8.0s in my xlight v2. they have double clicking issues below 4ms debounce time and the retailer told me straight up to set it to 10-12ms. no, thanks. rather go with the opticals and not care about the "feel".
I own the xlite V2 and it's great but I don't like the clicks, they aren't bad but isn't smooth like my previous mouses, i think I'm gonna buy the DAv3, both it seems identical but DAv3 it looks a bit better.
Perfect. But Razer still didn’t get my money. They priced themselves out and I got the G-Wolves Skoll instead. 95% the mouse for 35% off the money. But sure, it’s the end game mouse for me. I hope a cheaper wired version comes out, because even if this is perfect, I can’t make myself find it worth $170 in my country
The pulsar xlite v2 is 59g, has a better coating and has a mini version at 55g all for $80...... there's no way this is the king of ergo mice at a whopping $150
The reasons I'm considering paying Razer's extortion price are: low latency optical switches, superior clickfeel, 4khz wireless polling support (valuable in games which actually support it), a flat left side for superior grip (Pulsar's curved thumb groove forces me to hold it crooked), and a better sensor...
One thing to note is that the scroll wheel feels REALLY light now. It's hard for me to get used to, compared to any other mouse I've used. I don't really feel it's that usable in games because of it, you're more likely to skip over steps.
Removing the 2 buttons behind the scroll wheel was an ungodly mistake. I was a big Deathadder fan but went to the Viper 8KHz for the lighter mouse and to test out 8KHz Polling, and I like the shape of the Viper, but I liked the Deathadder for it being unique and a lighter V2 which was a tad smaller would be perfect... But screw the people who liked the Deathadder, now we've received a completely new mouse which looks generic and uses the Deathadder name.
$150 for a mouse is insane.... I understand your keeb but that's way to much for something that deteriorates with use. I feel like for that price the thing better last for years.
I find the dramatic changes to such a classic design dissapointing. I have both a deathadder V2 and a glorius model D. I have both because I love the uniqeness of the Deathadder V2, now it's basically just a slightly different version of the model D losing it's uniqeness and specialness. If I wanted to buy a model D I'd buy a model D, I like the Deathadder for what it is and now witht the v3 thats gone. I think Im going to buy a few Deathadder V2s because unfortunately, it looks like you wont be able to get anything like that again which is really sad.
I disagree, they did it great doing this DAv3, i had in the past the DA 3500, chroma and V2 they were good for chill games but uncomfortable for fps games and i stop using them, but with this new shape it seems the same mouse but improved and it has a top sensor and top switches, I have now the pulsar xlite V2 but I don't like very much the clicks, i think I'm gonna buy this one..
@@markus301 it would be nice of they kept the original and added this as an alternative option rather than discontinuing (killing) a classic that I love. The new one doesnt have rubberized grips either which I really like. The V2 is special and unique and when it's gone there will be nothing to replace it.
calling it the best ergo of 2022 is major disrespect to pulsar xlite v2. razer's ergo is heavier, and the only saving grace for dav3 is the 4k dongle which has currently been sold out for a few weeks.
@@sonk_cs5058 In normal use there is zero creaking. M1+M2 feel great, people hate on the side buttons but I have no issues with them. Just buy from Amazon and get a refund or replacement easy. I have never needed to contact customer support for any company and I have owned 4 finalmouse products. Idk if you are just a death adder fanboy or what but dav3 is slightly lacking. Its definitely an upgrade for people using a model D or g703.
Haven’t heard this one before. Try something more original next time. Like “BT was sent by razer to push the ergonomic agenda. We cannot stand for for this. We must resist!”
