I have the set as well, and agree it's a cool set to have sitting next to the system. The only thing that mildly annoyed me is that the razer battery gate removes the Horizon logo from the back of the controller. Considering the tradeoff, I shouldn't gripe too much, but oddly that logo just put a nice finishing touch on the whole controller.
I have a question. I bought one of these, but I’m not sure if it’s faulty. When it goes fully charged it stays white for a while, then goes back to orange. Is this normal? Controller is on properly too.
@@CLC-1000 it will fully charge, stay white for 20 mins or so, then orange, then white again. Weird how it cycles like that. Other chargers I've had it will just always stay full once charged.
Does the charging light ever turn off ? It hasn’t turned off on mine and keeps alternating between orange and white. I suppose I could take it off the stand but that’s why I bought it, so that the controller can rest there while not in use.
If the controller is on the stand, the indicating light will always be on. The only time the light will not be on is if the controller is off the stand. Most charging stations are like this, but I won’t over charge the controller battery. I hope this helps
I just want to ask sir if the type-c connector from the xbox series controller is still working while using the razer battery. Is it safe to use direct plug-in a cellphone charger adapter?
That’s a great question, I actually have been changing my controller with this stand connected to a charging block and plugged into the outlet, and I haven’t had any problems. Now on the instructions it says to plug the stand to the console, but it doesn’t say that you can or can’t plug it to the wall. I have tried to see if there is any fine print, but I have not been able to find anything. If I do come across an issue I’ll comment back on here letting you know. 😃👍
It might be too soon for me to notice any battery drop at this moment. With any rechargeable battery you’ll see that it won’t hold as much charge in the long run.
@@bitcrush Ok, so I tried charging the battery pack by plugging it to the Xbox and it doesn’t work. It keep the controller on, but won’t recharge the battery pack. Hope this help out!
Looks very nice but I just want a charging stand for the plug and play batteries. Anyone know if Microsoft makes these? I haven't been able to find one.
