I have a drawer full of gaming mice, wired and wireless $40 to $140 and the one I main for fps games is the Orochi v2. I find it easy to control with my funky hybrid grip, even my kda has increased since using this mouse.🤘🤘🤘
@@raulavram366 I call it a death grip claw palm hybrid. lol it's the most comfortable and accurate for my playstyle. Although I have had some issues with the orochi v2 since I last posted, connection issues under fast movement. So I went back to my model O.
This was a good guide! But you made it harder for me to choose. As I also have a macbook to use it with. That's why I wanted to go with the Orochi. But I like the shape of the g305..
In my opinion, forcing you to use a usb dongle is an automatic disqualification for a laptop mouse. Laptops are so limited in how many USB ports they have that forcing you to use one of them to use a mouse is just absurd. I get that it's a gaming mouse so responsiveness is good, but some people are playing games that don't need that responsiveness, or simply don't care or are not performing at a level where they even notice. When playing a fast-paced game like an FPS, I literally can't tell the difference between a mouse connected via Bluetooth, a dongle, or a wired mouse, assuming that the Bluetooth connection has a clear line of sight.
I might be asking a weird question or wrong question? Sorry new too pc gaming 😅 but what would be good for daily / some gaming because I'm currently in school also, how is the app between the two for the customization?
hey man great video. i notice that you have both razer pro click and orochi v2. can briefly compare these 2 items for me? im really deciding to buy one of this mice. i kinda like the pro click for productivity but i fear its too bulky and heavy
Hey there, thanks! The Pro Click is good for gaming. I use it for games like Diablo and Doom. But ya the Orochi would be lighter. I do keep a Basilisk nearby just in case the Click isn’t doing it for me.
@@TechAdventure1 thanks for the prompt reply. im currently using anywhere 2s. i like this shape. im just worry that the razer pro click might just be too bulky. do you think the razer pro click shape wont be an issue?
You bet. Do you play the same types of games I listed? If so, I think you’re fine. If you’re even semi competitive with other people then ya maybe get something more oriented towards gaming. But truly I game with it most of the time.
I've had a g305 for a few years now. It's been real good, but now I've been getting double, up to even triple clicks. Gets pretty darn annoying and I was thinking of getting an orchi V2 because of the better DPI. Is it a good trade or does it not really matter, since they're both so similar
I think they are alike for everyday use, battery life is also quite similar, Razer is just a bit smaller and nicer quality. Orochi has Bluetooth as well, but it does not provide the full performance of the mouse, however, it does almost double the battery life, so that's an advantage. I think the majority of the improvements come in response time and accuracy of the sensors. G305 is quite good for gaming, but the Orochi is basically as good as it gets, if that matters for you
The bottom of the G305 being so minimalist actually makes it seem higher quality/classy to me. I get the opposite impression! All the text and info on the Razer mice just feels cheaper. Maybe because it's the more common practice?
oh what a bummer, i use the "dpi button" as a ctrl + w shortcut while browsing and spam mouse 1 macro while gaming. would you say that would become an obstacle if you used it that way? also are the feet on the razer one durable? i know for a fact that those "feet" on the logitech one are literally just plastic stickers on top of the screws used to open the mouse up
In terms of spamming the clicks quickly, which mice do you prefer? I heard the G305 is "lighter" and easier to spam, but was wondering what you thought.
Bought G305/G304 for $40 + mods around $10+ (Tiger ICE Mouse feet, Energizer lithium then the adapter) here in the Philippines.. the Orochi here is $70+ so what do you think about the deal I made?
@@okene I also owned a g305 snd switched to orochi v2. The orochi is smaller and is mostly better for claw grips snd fingertip grip, its lighter and better weight balance. The only thing I realized after switching is my gripstyle, adjusting to the new sensor placemsnt and having shorter battery life as compared to the g305.
@@colin6711 For durability both mices are great and my g304 had taken a lot of beating and drops it still works, though i replaced the switches on my g304 couple of times now and the rubber scroll wheel of the logitech expands over time making it harder to scroll. As for the orochi it also built good with no side flex or creaking, the switches on it are durable for sure havent replaced it at all. Havent dropped my orochi like my logitech so can't say for sure. So far orochi has better parts but overall build quality is about equal on both mices.
It does fit more hands. I have small hands and the orochi fits great. I think most reviewers agree that the orochi is great for small/medium hands or fingertip grip for larger hands.
