Just ordered this the other day. The mic does sound pretty disappointing but luckily i'm using a separate mic with a boom arm. Other than that they look and feel very nice and the headphone sound quality is great for general use, movies and gaming. Currently using this on a PC, not sure if it will be any different on a console or mobile.
Didn't the Kraken have some metal in the build like gen 1 of gen 2? It's like they lost the durability in favor of RGB. I'm always hesitant with a all plastic headset even though I am very careful with my peripherals.
started with that, then got the blackwidow v4 keyboard. imho its amazing and i have the basilisk ultimate which is perfect. now im lookin for a new headset bc my steelseries arctis 9x connection is spotty, but the microphone on this kraken v4 is killing me. love wireless headsets and want this one but damn is it worth?
It seems a bit of a down grade from the kraken v3 pro as they have less good drivers, less comfort, less good build quality, isn't it more useful just to have a detachable mic as you probably have a mic if you're buying these. All that in favor of some rgb which was already good
Honestly not a fan of razer products these days. I respect their innovation and the evolution of their mice, headsets, ect. I think I've just grown away from them. Their stuff definitely is great for some people and i hope those of you who buy this headset thoroughly enjoy it! Happy gaming everyone!
I forgot to mention, i definitely enjoy these videos. Quick and to the point without the fluff. This format really works for me. Thank you for your work on these videos!
they make one of the best perhipals in the market i ever seen im using their products and im a big sweater when i game i almost spill half a liter sweat to my keyboard and mouse and it holds perfectly so far
@@Klongu_Da_Bongu you can contact with their support and get a replacement really easily i live outside the U.S and EU they even helped me with my issue back in the day
Great video. Razer has kind of fallen off in the quality department as well as synapse practically being a virus itself, injecting deep into Windows (synapse caused my 7800x3D to overclock in idle hitting ~60c with no applicatios open). I personally think there are more options nowadays that do much better, but wanted to comment for the algorithm.
Aside from the RGB, those look pretty nice. I also continue to be very impressed with what Razer has been able to do with their mics. Steelseries definitely needs to take a few notes there
