I´ve found that you can also solve it by clening the reflector at the bottom with a little bit of alcohol and an Hyssop, but it was after watching this vid, so thanks man I was about to throug the f mouse to the trash can
having the same issue but cleaning didnt work. It's particularly strange because for the past few days it was randomly working and would always cease to work after PC shut down. Pretty sure I need a new mice then.
I have the same problem i cannot see an light ; i have already disassembled it and cleaned it but still no porgress . all buttons works but the sensor does not
got a problem with my viper mini too sometimes when i flick my mouse it instantly disconnecting for a brief moment. cleaned the sensor and also i tried to play fps with it for 30 mins no disconnecting anymore. hopefully it stays like this
in my case, when i move to the left or up, my cursor goes to the extremity left or top side (respectively) instantly. no problem moving exclusively to the right or down, just left and up. do you have any idea on why this is happening? also, i wonder if dissembling could mess up with the warranty policies (not sure if i still can try to get a new one from Razer but yk)
In terms of your issue I'm not sure how to fix that. you can disassemble the mouse and put it back together without changing anything about it so i don't see you having any problems with a warranty
@@jordananderson5980 bro, in my case it suddenly came back to normal, but i feel like the sensor could fail again any time soon. i hope you can fix your problem tho. reach redragon's support
same problem but at a extreme level even if i flinch a little gets teleports to top left corner or top . and than sometimes it starts working like nothing happened only for it to go back to this state the next day... and now as of typing this the sensor completely stopped working than i dissembled it like this video said so... just by doing that it started working again i cleaned it, still working than after a while it started teleporting like crazy again. as of now the sensor has completely stopped working... idk wht to do with thing
@@Mani-tx9zp exactly same thing here, mate. exactly how you described. it's probably the sensor, then. i don't think our mouse's issue has any solution haha. if you like the shape of that mouse, you should go for the wireless DELUX M800, i've only heard good things about it. good luck!
My razer Naga has this issue where when i restart my computer the Sensor light doesn't turn on, but after a long time it turns on and it works fine. If i never shut down my computer it works perfectly fine. (i bought my mouse 10days ago) Im not sure if this would fix it? I've just had this issue again this morning and kept searching about it, even deleted drivers etc. Was that your issue, the sensor light wouldn't be on when you look bellow the mouse?
my viper mini still clicks wouldn't move as well although the sensor is still on. but it seems to flicker though. I have tried reinstalling drivers and cleaning sensors but doesn't seem to work.
Is it okay to permanently remove the black film sticker covering the sensor and IR led, and use the mouse without it? Is there any crucial function of the film?
@@jhonyobregon9502 i didnt remove any connection, i just remove the screws and then clean the mouse. in the sensor area clean it with a soft small brush
Got an issue with my Razer Viper 8k When I move my mouse to either the left or right, the cursor will start to climb even though my wrist has not moved up I'm thinking of replacing my mouse entirely due to this, this doesn't appear to be an orientation issue as corrective software such as Raw Accel yields the same results There's another person with this issue of a different Razer product ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-68tUPqeik7c.html I'm wondering if you experience this issue as well? or have possibly fixed it in the past?
recently I encountered a problem, my Razer Viper Mini mouse the buttons and Scroll work well but the mouse movement no longer works. please someone help me
hey so um i dont know what your talking about when brushing off the contact can you make another video and make it more clear which one i should brush off@@AidanSidebottom
I ve got another problem ... The sensor just randomly turns off like for a span of 1 sec wich is enough to make you lose a gun fight and recently its been getting worse and worse any tip besides getting a new mouse ..?
if the led seems to turn off occasionally while looking at the bottom of the mouse then you should take the mouse apart remove the plastic enclosure around the light bending the light up and cleaning anything that might be making contact between the two sides of the wire, I found the plastic part that holds the light in place on the PCB is not necessary
@@AidanSidebottom ik its the sensor cuz when it flashes and sometimes turns off cant move the cursor even if it moves it moves just 1 cm away from its original position
@@ppouga1318 I should have titled the video how to fix the light that shines on the sensor, if you see any flickering of the red light it is a problem with the light. Just remove the little plastic box around the light and clean the silver colored wire with electrical contact cleaner if you have any, wipe it with a brush or qtips and then bend the light back down, continue doing this until the sensor tracks
@@nnot_highground3960 yeah razer products r just bad. Like why did my viper mini stopped working when it was working perfectly 5 mins ago it just doesn't make sense. This is going to be my first and last razer product
