Razor Clam digging

Hello, yes I've been having a blast. It is a lot of fun finding the holes and the clams. I was supposed to go Saturday but my boyfriend and I broke up and I didn't want to look for clams in the rain. I'm going on the last dig this month - rain or shine - even if I have to go alone. How has it been for you? I've been catching my limit fast.

@@Death_Row_Anglers that would be awesome. Hey I was wondering what kind of light do you use to find your vehicle? It gets so dark out there on the beach at night. I'm looking for a good flashing light that I can see far away. I seen that some people was using big red flashing lights, I searched online but have not found them yet. The flashing light that I have been using is way to small and disappears out of eyesight about 50 feet away.

Are you going to get back out there? I’m just waiting for the next dig to be approved. What I look forward is a donut 🍩 shaped hole and small holes. Then I just dig them up :)

@@Death_Row_Anglers Not exactly, my family moved to Ca. in 59 and I have stayed here. This next weekend the Dungeness crab season opens, I don't go on weekends but I will be out Monday and Tuesday. It's a 4 hour trip to the coast so it's a killer on me!! I just recall all our clam hunting trips and loved them, I prefer eating the Crabs!!

I lived in Seattle for 10 years then moved to CA, but still visit every blue moon or so. Never got to clam up there, but definitely got to do that next time.

I moved to washington from Cali. I was stationed in Monterey. Those clams are very tasty

I’ve never done the smaller razor clams with the salt 🧂, but I’ll figure out a way to do so. If you’re ever in Washington state. Let me know. We will take you out clamming/crabbing/fishing then have a big seafood boil after :)
