Hey I noticed you said that the crf50 seat isn’t as comfortable as the luna float seat. Is there a reason that you didn’t use a luna float seat for this build?
I wanted to keep the stock plastics and there would be gaps if I used the Luna float. It would also require more modification and retrofitting. I really just wanted to get this build up and running asap 😅
Im have 2 mx650's i got used off of craigslist for a good deal so that i can upgrade them but i was hoping to get some advice on witch motor is better choice if im looking to get the most power,speed, quality, and durability between the ec4p motor by electro and co or this qs motor your using. I know theres a price difference and one is bolt on and the other would involve more modification to work and i dont mind paying more and or doing the extra work if it pays off in the end so if amyone has any advice on this it would be greatly appreciated!
I highly recommend the new Sotion FW11. It's plug n play/no modification needed to the stock razor swingarms, and seems that it outperforms the EC4P and QS165 in addition to handling heat a lot better. Solid question but.. did it consist simply of six hydrocoptic marzlevanes, so fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft that side fumbling was effectively prevented?
Can those drop down pegs hold your full weight if you stand on them? And also, how long is that spacer that you used to mount them to the stock peg mounts?
It's a solid extension and very robust. You're golden if it's a street build but I can't say much for a dirt set up.. IMO, I'd go with a fully custom swingarm if you plan on running a dirt set up especially if you plan on jumping.
Sick build! I’m going to go the route of installing the Alta throttle on my eFTR. My dad has an Alta and he happened to have an extra one (sweeeeeeet) so I’m wondering if it was easy to get it wired up? I’m using a FD 72680 and I’m picking up the throttle tomorrow.
Thanks and yes it's pretty straight forward! Red, black, purple is signal. You can google for the wiring diagram. EMXBrandon also has a great video on FD wiring which is what I referenced for this build 🤙🏼
Hey how is the bolt on extended swing arm. I heard someone say that it isn’t very stable and it’s more for street riding. I like riding both street and trail so do you think this swingarm would be fine or is it a bit sketchy?
If you want something that's plug n play then EC4P is def the way to go. QS165 will require an extended swingarm along with some fabrication & modding for the motor mounts along with sprockets. It is capable of more power but will require more effort and coin to get it to fit..

I was like, damn my switches didnt come daisy chained 😆 i got my rsf apart i might do that to my 3 switches real quick to clean it up 👌
