We come to this track time and time again, just love it! Hey you lady in the white top you give us that feel good vibeeee!!! Errr thats me and my good friend John Jones :-)
Unbelievable voice. I love this track. Jammin it with my son when it came out i nearly fell off my chair when this husky voice was from such a young lad
This video is very nice, the vocals are so cool...... I'll watch it for thousand times... They can do it so well and the others bands are so jealous .... :)
I am not a huge fan of razorlight, however this version is amazing and those background harmonies are epic...but who designed this set?? Someone actually stood back and said oh that's perfect...LMAO!!
@ciaracustard. Razorlight played the following day if I remember correct. Johnny, like many other performers, did a special acoustic performance for the beeb as an extra
those that run down the backing singers show no education in music or recognition of people doing what they love and hoping they can make a positive difference to the people around them. This shallow losers will only dwell in their own failings.
@rosemarydragon Thanks Rosemary for the reply, it was bad again when i tried it, i then clicked for full screen and it was perfect!! I then pressed escape and the small screen was also perfect- strange!! Cheers, John..
Is it just my computer or has this video gone wrong?? The picture can't be seen as it's gone massively pixelated and the sound stops and refuses to go again :( Shame as i really liked this acoustic performance much better than the plugged in version...
@OrangeMegan wtf? hes not talented, so what? i'll tell you now that I'd rather listen to him then anything spurting out your mouth. To be honest I dont hear anything wrong in this piece at all. I like his voice as it is. Great song.
Think this is class...im not usually partial 2 razorlight, but this is a great acoustic version..u can hear that he can hold a tune, and the backing singers are kickin it ....nicely done.. C'mon there's 2 much shit out at moment 2 criticize !!
In what sense is this "razorlight"? Don't get me wrong, the backing singers are brilliant and deserve more recognition than they ever get but did Johnny Borrell piss of the rest of his band that day or something?
I was 11 when this came out and it was one of the very first songs I properly fell in love with, 9 years later and it is still one of my favourites ever. Properly amazing tune, this version especially.
I saw them at Glastonbury that year. Best version they've got of this song. Unfortunately the weather was nothing like they've got, I saw this version on TV when I got home and it must have been recorded in the only few seconds of the sun being out. The rest was the usual British summer time, with everything being drenched in a warm muddy rain... But I just love this version.
