I like this razor a lot. It has great balance, not too aggressive, nor too mild - and those gaps in the baseplate are a great idea AND you can feel the difference

Nice to see you back man just got into your videos a few months ago you are the one who got me to switch to traditional wet shaving. Got me an old super speed and a 34c and couldn't be happier and I probably wouldn't have found out about traditional wet shaving if I haven't have stumbled across one of your videos.

We miss you Nick shaves! I love your videos. It was you and Kevy shaves that got me started wet shaving. And now I have accumulated a massive amount of wet shaving stuff! That's okay though because it is an extremely enjoyable hobby and I can always put my excess shaving stuff or stuff that I don't need up for sale on the wet shavers enablers group on Facebook.

I find I'm the opposite. When I have less growth, I want a milder shave, so I'll use a mild blade in a mild razor. I'll use aggressive razors and sharper blades on 2+ days growth.

The omega 49 pro boar brush is one of the best brushes and I have plenty control and it has great back bone yet soft. I also love the semogue 1305 smaller but very awesome and it's not my favorite colors but still looks pretty old school European barbershop theme. Performance over esthetics!

Nick, for me the Game changer is a much smoother feeling more efficient/aggressive razor than my old trusty Murker 34C. Yes medium aggressive as you say but hands down better pass for pass than the 34C. At least this is the case for me and I find the Game Changer to be among one of my favorite all time razors and dollar for dollar is one of the best values out there. All The Best To Ya..

Double comment but eh this time related to the video: - love the audio quality and how you can hear every pass. - appreciate the commentary and instruction for new safety razor users - the product descriptions and detailed review is extremely well done. - video length was not even an issue once I actually got into the video. And not too many ad interruptions for such a long video. A suggestion would be to hook up an external monitor to your cameras output ports somewhere off camera but in your line of sight so you don't need to keep looking over at the cameras monitor.

Great video. I did 6 months in Qatar last year with Air Force. Went off base and got 3 tubes of Caola shave creme for about 10 bucks, and 300 Gillette 7'o clock blades for about 25 bucks. Double edge safety razors are about as cheap of a shave as you could get. And nothing beats a fresh smooth shave! Thanks for the videos. I would shave twice a day if my face allowed it!!

Hmm, I have the exact opposite experience with the aggressiveness of the shave v. how long it’s been since I shaved last 🤔 when I haven’t shaved for a few days, I can do whatever the heck I want to my face, with zero cuts/irritation!! For everyday shaving, I can only do extremely careful WTG.

Good point! This is why everyone needs to not listen to what is said about how to shave, rather just learn the principles and learn how to shave THEIR face - everyone is different and needs to learn what works for them. This is true with so much in health - diet, exercise, everything

Glad to see you back. What I don't quite understand is how you guys shave with cold or lukewarm lather. A scuttle filled with boiling water is an absolute necessity for me as is a hot towel. Now perhaps after shaving for 50 years I have become spoiled or my beard is so tough is requires serious softening. Anyway, I still like to hear your opinions on new products , although if I went four days without shaving I'd have to have a barber do it for me. Thanks again Nick.

I like using a scuttle for hot lather, but, for me, its more of a luxury than a necessity

Hi Nick, Good to have you back! I've started following you on youtube sinds 2 months now, and i like it a lot. Thx to you i started wet shaving because i have issues with ingrowing hair in my neck aswel. Bought a Merkur 34C as you recommended and i'm using proraso shaving soap atm with a badger hair brush from Omega and Astra Platinum blades. i've been doing it now for over 3 weeks and going with the grain and cross-grain (not in my neck). Yet i'm still having issues with ingrowing hair in my neck. (it's less but it still is there). Do you have anymore tips on this? Kind regards out of Belgium, Wouter

Have learned much from you Nick! Do you think I should stop ATG? I want a super close shave but I get a lot of irritation especially on chin and under lips area! I shave once a week.

I like this soap a lot - I think I detect a touch of Wintergreen in there with the pine. I like switching off between this and Stirling Ozark, which smells like a different forest. The others I’ve tried from T&S are also winners.

Enjoyed the video. I will start looking for that soap . I sounds like it is a bit like the norwegian Fitjar soaps. Ever tried their soaps? Good quality and very naturelike smells. And a nice concept.

How often do you shave? And what can you recommend for someone who has to keep a clean shave for work that has extremely fast going facial hair. I went from having a beard for 8 years to having to keep a slick face.

Hi Brian! The game changer is truly great. Its a well thought out design that shaves great. The Snake Bite is intense, really fun to use it on a hot summer day then go outside - feels like AC on your face

I have bunch of razors and i really don't like the ones where the blade tabs do not stick out from the sides primarily for the reason you explained; The razor head and the bar is so wide that you can't get the whiskers under the nose. Also a wide razor head doesn't conform to the contours of the face, resulting in uneven shave between slight valleys. Many people think of shaving as straight line on a flat surface, but it's more like skiing where you carve the snow in a half pipe.

I do have an Omega! I love it. I am a huge fan of aeronautics and space travel, thus I have always wanted the moon watch and was lucky enough to get it for a graduation
