Great shave. Weird looking soap, but I like Stirling products. I have the original Mamba (.53 mm) and the Game Changer (.68 mm), they are both in my regular rotation, but I do prefer my Game Changer a little more then my Mamba. For me, the Game Changer is just a tad more efficient. I use sharper blades in my Mamba and get great shaves. Have a great and safe week!
Just came across this video because I was curious about the Mamba. Nice review. And I know what you mean about Haverford smelling sour. When I first got it, off the puck it just smelled almost like straight cedar oil, which is kinda sour and not a great smell. If you've dealt with moths you probably know what I mean! But man it smells great lathered up. Another soap I wasn't sure about off the puck was Eigengrau which just came out. But I really like it lathered up.
Great shave and great razors, both. As a daily driver, The Mamba is, for me, smoother and easier than the Game Changer. If I need a very close shave, I take my smooth Schich G 66 and I'm done. But I don't need or search a daily BBS, so the Mamba is my number one among a lot of other razors, never irritation, nick or cut with the Mamba.
Was the titanium handle slippery or was it to long, you said you didn’t like that handle and was wondering why? Thanks I’m looking at buying the mamba and like the light weight of titanium handle but wonder how that handle performs
What's the mildest razor you've used? I have fairly sensitive and I'm using the black plastic wilkinson classic safety razor but it clogs way too easily and I'd like something a bit better
@@ciarancdc I started using a more aggressive razor and only do one pass on the sensitive areas and get zero irritation now. Sometimes more aggressiveness and less buffing is the answer.
Probably many adjustable razors can be dialed down to extreme mildness. I never tried dialing my gillette slim adjustable below 3. Below that, l have doubts it would cut much of anything.
