A 5 day jaunt to Barcelona with a piece of the fam. Featuring Nicolas Auroux • Victor Daum • Victor Legrand • Jon Matter Josh Glowicki and Mathias Silhan Filmed and Edited by Jonas Hansson
Dude, the SL is the PERFECT skate soul tricks. Best I have ridden. Not the best at everything but for technical grinds and switch ups I have not found the same thing in another skate.
Damn i was just going to say that looks like barcelona cause i was there 14 years ago. And who ever hit the wall ride to 360 topside HOLY SHIT!! You gave me a heart attack. I haven't seen anything that ridiculous in a while
am sorry but after 10years not following the sport or skating i dont think its progressed much i am now geting into the sport again and thinking how good i would of been if this is what the pros are doing these days , i thought they would be doing crazy stuff but i could grind rails and do big gaps back in the day not quite as good as the guys in the vid but not far off and i was only 18teen has the sport never really progressed since the shima and dusting latimer days
Hasn't been given the chance to progress ever since the sport has been massively blacklisted. Most who are into it are the ones who do it for the love of the sport. Which in my opinion is a good thing.
I think it's progressed a good amount. You have to be nuts to keep up. That's why my skates are in the closet and only come out every few years. I still got it though. I was never amazing, but I skated with some greats back in the day.
It definitely hard to progress from 10 years ago. They were just doing some crazy shit man. Simply as that, people were 720'ing on hand rails, and 540 kind grinds with ease. The only direction to go was flipping on hand rails then people stated to get families and jobs and nobody wanted to risk that anymore on their dime. It was okay to risk it at 16 or 17 when when you felt like you were gonna live forever and you lived at your parents house. But now its just not worth it. I never was as good as the people in this video but watching were they were going and trying it back then was damn near impossible and hard. Some of these tricks that they are doing in the video are easy to learn if you have practice. But give these guys credit they are still doing it
