There are plenty of things to review and discuss, I agree, I expected an official remastered collection of the rest of the Track recordings in the box, I wonder if that was also a licensing problem?, Enjoyed the video and take care 👍🏻

Great review of what is a SUPERB box-set. It's not perfect (there are still a few tracks missing, the biggest of which is "Megamixofhits"), but it's still amazing and an absolute bargain.

I think the reason the self titled Shakin’ Stevens album says “play loud” is because it may have been mastered to low in volume. so they probably printed the play loud on the LP vinyl itself to tell the listener to turn it up to be able to hear it. That’s what I think it might be. not an alternative name for the album or they would of retitled the album like they did for Marie, Marie to this Ole house. But that is just my opinion, but everyone is welcome to have there opinion. Excellent review 👍🏻

Great review and thanks for taking the effort to put this video together! The risk of making a video like this is that mistakes are easily being made concerning years of certain releases and that can happen to the best of us, however, I would like to point out that he song 'True Love Travels On A Gravel Road' was not performed during the 2019 tour. Shaky performed that song during his 1999 and 2000 UK tours only. In 1999 he also recorded a studio version (featuring Darrel Higham on guitar) of that song, but as you know, that one hasn't been released yet. In fact, there are quite a few unreleased tracks in the vaults. Hopefully they'll get a release in the near future. But anyway, thanks again for your review! During the past few days I have watched several of your other videos (mainly those about Elvis) and I enjoyed watching those too!

Merry Christmas Everyone was released as a separate CD (again with appropriate bonus tracks) the same time as the Epic Masters box set. Unfortunately it wasn’t packaged the same way so could not be put in the box set. The only issue I had with Fire In The Blood box set was that it omitted the EMI MFP release - The Track Years - which had gathered up previously unreleased Track material in about 1983!!

Hello ! Im not a big Shakin Stevens fan but this video was great ! Maybe I give him a chance ! I only have one LP with him , Platinum High School, Shakin Stevens The Jets Johnny Storm . 4 songs with Shakin Stevens and The Sunsets. LP number CARS 67.923

back in 1981 i was given my first shakin stevens lp for christmas then year later another shakin stevens lp christmas year later 1982 then after that did not hear much of shaky till 1990s then in 2004 or 2005 got shaky greastist hits cd ith dvd of his hit videos

i did get too see shakin stevens the last couple of years in salford and manchester on his 2 tours even got to get his body guard to get shakin stevens to sign my tour program

dont forget his other album released couple years ago that was new songs

I’m sure I payed about £200 for this boxset now it’s £47 from hmv in 2023
