Thanks mate, yea he had to go down there to empty the septic tank but fields still very soft, heavy old lump those unimog tankers, nice bit of kit though
I used to work on the smaller older versions. We used to bog them in on road test then get out and watch it get itself out in super crawl. Took bloody ages.
You know what I couldn't tell you! We had them on the harrier force. Used them as aircraft tractors out in the field. If you put RAF Gutersloh in RU-vid you'll see them.
@@kensjobs2237u400 is in same series as this one. This mog is not set up properly far to much weight over the back, shit tyres with too much air and why was it off the paddock ridge in first place after all rain recently, nice recovery though and that bogged driver has a lot of healing in to do
When i had my garage Ken i had a Reynolds Boughton RB44 with spec lift and 50ft expanding boom etc it could do anything and everything from motor bike to tractor unit and other motorised equipment but i fell ill and lost my garage the last thing i sold was my beloved RB44 and i shed a tear as it was driven down the road 😪.
@@kensjobs2237 I had covid they give 3 day to live 7 weeks later i sign myself out mess my lungs sleep with oxygen also renal failure wear nappys now use a zimmer frame also take 24 diffrent meds every day But hey i keep up the fight i'm still here Ken and there a others out there more ill than i'am so everyday is a good day😁
If that mog was on cleats this video wouldn't exist. Sweet RB though.

Excellent work, problem with that mog is the tyres! Never 4x4 tyres! The wee dodge is a belting wee motor, granted slightly “agricultural” like all the 50 series were but its built for a job to be done not for comfort
Agricultural... 😳😳 She's the Ferrari of the off road world 🤣🤣 yea she's a great truck mate

@@kensjobs2237 had a couple in opencasts up here, just pick up bodies though and they generally survived so that says a lot 😂, tge Scottish bus group ran them with Alexander’s bodywork, both the series 1 with round headlights powered by Perkins 4236 and the series 2 with square headlights powered by the Perkins 1004, brakes were not the best and neither was the GM auto gearbox’s, but they made their money, Manchester/Liverpool ran ones with other bodywork types too……. Fk me how boring am I remembering all that 😂
Looking at the uneven depth of track the 'Mog made on the way in, the warning signs had already been missed, driver should have registered the lean from soft ground🙄 (and not gone that way before a walk test...)
