If you're preparing for 2024, you don't have less time. So it's the best that you cover everything thoroughly now. You cannot skip arithmetic topics, please do all. And focus on Quadratic Equations and the roots questions here. (You'll get 3 questions there at least) You'll get quantity comparisons, data sufficiency and even DI questions made out of the arithmetic section - so strengthen your foundation there. No need to prepare puzzles and seating arrangement, just skip it. But this means you cannot leave out CRITICAL REASONING and all the other miscellaneous topics. Sources - Practice Ace Quants and Ace Reasoning well (specially the moderate sections of these books). And give mock tests!!

I have followed edutap for Phase 2. I was an enrolled student there as I have mentioned in the video :) Quants and reasoning practised from the books I mentioned and if I got stuck I would check RU-vid for it. For English, only the mocks helped me. GA completely from Edutap again. BUT THE BEST SOURCE IS AFFAIRSCLOUD. I could not retain it, which is why I completely relied on Edutap. If you can revise Affairscloud well, then go for it!

@aditihaldar7678 Mam, Can you please state why you didn't pursue MA and thought of full time preparation for RBI ? I have just graduated and I am in this dilemma whether to pursue MA and prepare for RBI alongside (which would be tough for me) or prepare full time for RBI without going for any higher studies. I just think that pursuing MA may act as a backup option if I am not able to clear it in my first attempt. My thought process can be wrong also, plz correct if it's so. Eagerly waiting for your reply.

They asked me - 1) how would Literature contribute in any way when you come to work in RBI? 2) favourite poet and why? One poem of theirs that you love? Because I gave an unexpected name, they asked me why do I not like his popular poem (named it), which I had to explain again. That's all from my graduation subject :)

​@@wildflower1305The question was broadly asking about literature's contribution so I said this (which was almost a paragraph long and they heard me out) : Literature and banking have nothing in common, in fact they are poles apart. So the contribution of literature firstly has been very personal - it has broadened my perspective towards the world, made me more open to newer ideas and opinions. Reading literature of different genres makes you understand how people from different strata of society approach life. So this has helped me become more empathetic in nature, something that will come handy in an institution that makes policies for the people. So, literature's contribution would ensure that RBI's policies have the humane touch apart from just ticking the boxes of technicalities. Apart from this, literature has also helped me level up my drafting and communication skills both of which will come handy in an organisation like RBI. Also, this wasn't an answer that I had prepared myself. I got help from a working aspirant (Mrigank Shanker from SBI) who had helped me with this answer.

There's 1% chance that you will not be alive tomorrow toh jeena chorde kya!

I have not done any diplomas/courses in banking/finance. If there was any such requirement, they would mention it in the eligibility criteria. If you want to do it, you can. But that doesn't guarantee you getting an advantage in the interview stage. Your knowledge about RBI and your biodata is enough for that stage. If you want to do it, there's no harm. But please focus on the exam if you're appearing for it. You need to prioritise your syllabus over doing any course, because only that will ensure your selection :)

Yes of class 10. I picked up that book just to clear my foundation and strengthen my basics. Only after my basics were clear I moved on to Ace Quants.

Have to do a whole book or a few topics related to our exam questions? I just started preparation and I am very weak in maths

and after ace quants you went for mocks only not other sources to do more rather than ace quants

I had done all the arithmetic topics, quadratic equations and probability well. Ace quants is a standard book and questions will be framed similar to the moderate section of this book. But the way of asking questions will be different. The exam mixes together two topics to make a lengthier question. Hence, make your basics solid, then it will help you be selective in the exam. And once you start giving mocks you will get an idea of the type of questions you are comfortable with and the ones that are solvable in the given time. So, don't skip anything right now!

600 words for 15 marks and 400 words for 10 marks. I reached the exact word limit for all my answers. But again, this is not a prerequisite for clearing the exam. Quality > Quantity.
