I got a 1/24 scale Micro Rally Car RTR 4WD from Losi just for fun and for indoor. This car gave me a look into the high Quality standard of Losi and its smart technology solutions... They really can build cars and the DBXL is my fav of all 1/5 or 1/6 scale cars (because you get a lot for the price).
Hey Medic, just a quick tip. Check the inner foam of the air filter. They have been coming out of the factory extremely over oiled causing air starvation to the engine. Enjoy it bro ! Because we have !
They come with two piece shock pistons for different valving on rebound vs compression. I'm impressed. They work like crap out of the box but that can be tuned.

Ever thought about the 5th scale clone debate? you can get a king motors/rovan Baja for about 250 pounds and most people say compared to their counterparts, they're not bad at all! Also liking the DBXL!
This is like some ancient Egyptian tech compared to what I know about RC car and that's limited to the only one I was a able to get my hands on at Christmas when I was a kid.

Be sure to check fuel line setup before running any fuel through it. We've had 4 out of 6 come back to our store with reversed lines. If its ran reversed it will blow the diaphragm in the carb. Also check to make sure the gaskets are in the right place for the carb 3 of the 4 that came back the gaskets were installed wrong. Called horizon for warranty parts and they said just to fix those before they run. ATM I'm not impressed that these issues made it to the public

I was watching this and thinking, have you done a video on this track? We see it (this track) a lot, it's like a character in this crazy RC world you have created. I take it's not open to the public? Looks like a fun and loose track.

It´s a shame that it isnt a Losi design, it is developed by a Korean company named RCMK. Info is from Hemistorm who did a video about it. Probably Losi just adds their logos, eletronics and price tag on it.
Why does that matter? If Losi purchased the patent.. its their machine. It isn't a big deal, imho. Its a fairly common practice, in any consumerism industry.
