I have said it before and i will say it again. This show is what got me back into the RC addiction. I fell off the wagon after watching your build videos and making me realize how much i missed working on my trucks. And then came project large and my unyielding need to get a 5th scale which i did finally acquire. Thank you medic for bringing me back to this hobby. I have made many new friends and met many great people since i dove back into the vast ocean that is RC. Heres to another 8 years of adventures.

Your comment about looking at your X-01 and smiling hit home to me... There are times I'll just go out to my shop, pull a favorite down from the shelf, set it off to the side and peek at it while I build something else and smile!! Right now I'm building a Komodo, but my recent scale Jeep transformation of my old Telluride has been sitting there lookin good!

That Tundra also has a very special place in my heart. I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 and was in an ied blast. Luckily I got to keep my legs! Anyways I was in the hospital for about 5 months. I always wanted to build one and thought "hell I'm in the hospital and not doing anything, why not get the kit version and put it together in the hospital bed haha" (I couldn't walk at the time lol) That was such a fun experience in such a shitty time in my life! I'll never sell that truck. Such a good experience.
Wow... Thank you for sharing your story. This is what I am speaking about on the show. The RC hobby offers so much more then "just a plastic toy". It is a personal piece of artwork, that can function as therapy for the mind, and therapy for the body. Good for you dude, and thank you for the service.
DocWolph urc stopped because the tracks around Jang shut down. and police where not allowing rc cars in parking lots. so Jang shut it down to collect Legos on his legojang channel

DJ medic your awesome I used to rc when I was little and got out the hobby for many years I started watching your show about a year ago I stayed up all night watching you rc I went the next morning and bought my first scx 10 and now I am custom building my own stuff thanks to you my whole family is now in the hobby 😀

I personally don't mind that your collection is worth a quarter of a million. it all goes back into your videos so I can enjoy it anyway. thanks for doing what you're doing, and remember, most Hollywood movies cost more, but entertain less.

I got into DJmedic's videos about 3 to 4 years ago and still love it :). RCSparksstudio your awesome and it is because of medic that I got into the RC hobby swell and wanted a really cool toy plus I saw Nitro RC's in public so that got me interested into the RC hobby. Thank you DJMedic but pls don't quit RCsparks! You inspire me with my hobby and I am a young man.
I know you didn't say you are going to quit making RC videos but , if you quit I think most of your viewers will miss this great job and I'm the first who will miss the show.

Awesome stuff.. I've not been watching since the beginning, just since after my 1st daughter was born, she was three Oct 24th. As a new dad i wanted to get some of my childhood back, loved rc then. so... why not? It was a period of huge change anyway... during research into what to buy i found youtube helpful and thus RCSparks was the first 'Proper' rc video i ever watched. dirty in the bone maybe?? probably, because i always wanted a petrol car, but as a kid in the 80's that was unobtainable! So now, as an adult.. why not? well, like a lot of people who comment on your video's, i don't have a ton of cash. But you more than any other, your enthusiasm for the hobby convinced me to save and make money to get the rc's i wanted. Now nearly 3 years on, i'm glad i chose rc, had a lot of fun working my way through some cheap and not so cheap cars. That petrol car? yep had it 3 months ish, only a kingmotor Baja for £350 mind you, but still 6 months of saving for me. Anyway, the point of this rambling mess is: 1) to say "change is good" I look forward to hearing about it. and 2) To say Thanks, i wouldn't have considered spending more than 2 weeks wages on an RC or subsequently spending hours making videos with said RC's were it not for the Fun that leaks out of your videos. Thanks.
While some people may say that you are just showing off, I appreciate the video series on your collection. I own a trail finder 2 kit that I put together several years ago, a Tamiya cc-01 bought used, a cr-01 that was given to me by a very good friend of mine, a nitro truck that was also a gift and a Gelande with the cruiser body that just arrived. The RC hobby is a bit of showing off, I want to see what the other guy has and I want to show other people what I have. Very rarely have I taken my RC's out anywhere and be by myself. If I take my TF2 on some hiking trail a ton of people will stop and watch it, ask questions about it, and most are simply impressed by it. Part of the fun of this hobby is also talking to people, and my TF2 gets the conversation going.I have invested thousands of dollars into this hobby over the course of several years. One of your videos is what introduced me to RC4WD. And that truck has been a load of fun and is still running. My point is that some of the people who accuse you of showing off, I see their point. But, I appreciate your "showing off". I have learned a bunch from it, and I have my own TF2 because of it. Keep up the good work.

RC isn't just a hobby for you, it's your profession, your career. 250K is is justified for 5 years of doing RC professionally. You can almost call everything business assets. Keep it going! Love the videos and happy to see the complete collection.
You truly understand. Yes, for the first 3 years I was "self employed" as an sole proprietor. When I went full time, I incorporated "Medic Media Productions Inc" which is an umbrella company that holds RCSparks Studios. The incorporation has been going for 5 years. 8 Years total of entertaining, remaining impartial as I paid for most of my rigs, and the ones I didn't I let folks know. All of these RC's are "props" for a movie company that creates fun and engaging content for RU-vid. Each RC I choose, I look at as an investment. I pay out X amount of $ for an RC I like. I have to get a return on investment, and I gamble on the long game. So far, it has paid off, becuase as you say.. at this level - Cameras, equipment, RC's, parts, and so much more become and expense for the company. If a skid steer loses and engine (happened this year) and I buy an RC Skid Steer to help my back injury, but to maintain the film set.. it is also deemed as an expense. Also, my full size "RC" truck.. we filmed the entire project.. and it became a company truck. There is a huge business behind my "5 minute" videos.. folks just don't know about it.. but soon they will ;) The show is about to change...
+RCSparks Studio You're obviously doing the right thing. Business seems to be working out for you and it's nice to see the channel expand through the years. I'm excited to see what the future brings to the hobby and to RCSparks. Side note, I'm hoping to pick up a 6x6 this year. Have you had the opportunity to get your hands on a Cross yet? I'm seriously considering a UC6.

Hey medic, I wanted to thank you for getting me into RCs about 6 years ago, I love the way your videos have progressed! ...I also have lower back problems and I'm not sure what you do for your back but I use an inversion table and I love it.
Reason number 3. Insurance. You just documented your RU-vid business so if you ever had a fire or got burglarized everything is well documented. Hopefully you never have to use these videos for that purpose. Part 4 should be all your RU-vid gear for filming/editing. I do remember a vid talking about your work stations as well as light. chris janus WTF are you babbling about? Fyi I have a collection worth well over $100,000 that I EARNED all by my hard working 43 year old US of A ass. I'm sick and tired of jealous little brats like you and James S and even family members criticizing my own or even other people's beautiful, clean, honest, innocent, family oriented, hard earned for EVERYONE (1 car or 200) and deserved hobby! People are jealous haters if you have one nice expensive car. These same people will tell you how to spend your own hard labor money and rudely say you wasted your money and you are somehow irresponsible and dumb even though ALL of your responsibilities are taken care of.It takes years to collect a large collection and is an awesome accomplishment( and still worth a ton of money). If we as a family community or RCer's are ever going to get on cable tv and grow (so there can be more tracks,lower prices,and even more professional paid opportunities for a career in what so many of us love, and even more rc technology innovations,not to mention more cool entertainment shows ) then we need to celebrate what can be accomplished, not hate it. P.S. My mother and I do live together. She is 73 and she lives with ME and my wife and kids and we all love having her here you jerk so BREXIT yourself.

I have experienced a lil' bit of that same negative in my 42yrs as well, and i can only shake my head in wonder. Dear Aaron, Sorry to hear that you have disk issues and yes your boy comes first. the one project I remember you starting was a five axel MOA chassis all wheel steering and I remember you commenting on the video serous that people didn't like the spendiness of the build and so it kind of want away. I am sure it is in a box somewhere and winter is coming. I'd like to see it finished. keep up the good work.

Much like a hockey player loves the game, or an actor loves the movies - I love filming and sharing cool RC's that we rarely get to see, or some we all can have some fun with together. It has been about re-investing the money back into the show.. and we all have been able to explore RC in so many different ways.

That Beast II truck looks awesome! Looks like a “MANN” truck. We used one of those to transport supplies when I was deployed to Kuwait. 6WD, we still managed to bury the axles in the sand! Lol

Nice collection I know how back problems are fill for you on that i myself fell 18ft and broke mine over a yyear to recover from that now i get to build rc crawlers with my grandson and he has a collection of his own started great videos never give up

Medic, great video to show the reason why we all follow and watch you. I often tend to be outspoken especially when I see or hear of things that are said by people. I feel as though you shouldn't have to explain yourself on things such as what cost or where your money comes from. Every week you crank out 1 to 2 videos, I am sure those same people don't ask celebs and the production studios about their finances, TO hell with them if they don't like it look somewhere else or try to do better.
Crazy hey..? I explained it so many times in those videos.. but those things are easily missed... I have had a horrible back injury for about 8 years now.. and riding in the skid steer is punishment on my spine. But I need it for track maintenance for filming the show. Now you know :)
***** i work for the railroad and they have rc engines that they switch yards out with... took away several jobs and the switching per day decreased and got more hazardous, and now they are trying it with the road engines, so far they have only killed a couple of hundred people, including amtrak passengers, they are calling it positive train control, leader, and trip optimizer, so i had a case of tunnel hearing. but in your case, i can see how it would work best for you! :-) keep making great vids!
I loved seeing your collection! I've been looking at a few more rigs I want, and was a little concerned about the size of my collection. Now I feel a lot better about purchasing more RCs!
Wow I remember that Ghost rider bike. I got it for my birthday and thought it was so cool up until I realized how terrible I drove it. Returned it and bought the similar one radio shack had for cheaper and was happier.
It's 4 ft high!! Lol.. its really a monster. I wish I could get all of my construction equipment running at once for you guys.. it would be awesome to see. It just takes so much practice to get running well. Thanks for the comment.. :)
