John and I wanted to make this film a bit longer for the viewer, to include you in an "up close" look at each truck at the end of the film. His truck "Frankenstein" is a powerful brushless system, and nice wide Wraith Axles, mounted with custom built tires. We touch on how to make these tires in the film. A full tutorial is forthcoming.
My Monster Mud-stang is an upgraded Axial SCX10 Honcho, a re-build of y truck known as "The BEAST". This is the 6th FULL transformation of my truck in the last 6 years. It has dual 35t brushed Tekin motors, that are powered by an RX8 1/8th scale esc. My tires are RC4WD 2.2 Mud Basher Tractor tires mounted on Carbon Fibre bead lock rims. I use them because they are very light weight. With the extra weight of the mud.. things start to even out.

Hey Aron bro!!!!!!!! As the number one rc guy in the world I think it's time for next level.you need to google mini working v8. They are expensive but probably less than your tow truck and scale loader.theres a guy who built a 1/4 monster truck with a full blown scale v8 in it on RU-vid.i know with your team you could rock some crazy stuff with those motors.it would bring a whole new angle and fan base to the hobby.please check it out and keep up the good work.your the best man.also if you make shirts that say "medic saved my life" I will so buy it.awesome inside word play.thanks man!!!!!!

Kayla Nicole Are you talking about Conley? From what I know those aren't the best for running and I don't think they sell replacement parts. You can get cheaper ones that don't look as good and aren't supercharged but they run much better. They are from Europe somewhere for like 4,000, and they also sell V12 1/4 scale engines. V12 factory.

From what I have seen, he will give shout outs if he notices something special and may put it in recommended if he notices effort put intomaking good quality videos using what you have. again, being different is important.

Rick Hartman same here dude. I grew up on radio shack and toys r us RC, and watching his videos convinced me to go out and buy a Traxxas slash as my first hobby grade. Fast forward about a year, and now I also have an Arrma Granite, a 1:24 scale ECX Ruckus, and an ECX Outburst motorcycle. it's definitely addictive. :)

I think it looks awesome, though i have never had one. Im not into Nitro much because of the extreme temperature changes we go through here in Alberta. It sure does look fun though!

Good Morning from Oklahoma City!! I have a request for you to consider. Is there any chance you could do a video of the RC compound you have built. I was thinking a drone fly over or something. Hey, im new to RC's in generall but i been having so much fun watching your videos that i want some of the action for myself, so that being said, I have a question about gasoline 4wd 1/5 scale RC's. The main purpose of witch i will use it for is to play with my dogs they are really energetic and FAST and love to chase things and the terrain where i live is somewhat bad lots of holes everywhere, the mud/dirt is more like clay and its extremely windy i live in Chicago,Il. So I was wondering if you could lend me you expertise and help me choose the best RC for me.

i had made a lift kit for my scx 10 and put on stock wraith wheels and tires on it i was having a problem with my tires hitting the springs too and it would get hung up some time so i fixed my problem by putting on 20mm wheel spacers worked perfect and gave my truck a wider stance i love it works great till i can get some wraith axles

Great video, that truck with the emaxx tires looks so nice perform very well on the mud. I think that it will look more real going more slowly and with the brush system installed, great truck nice job. Hey Medic! I want to share a little trick I used when i used to race stadium trucks in texas with that sticky texas clay. soak your tires down with wd40 before you go mudding and it wont stick to the tires as easily.

Just as a general question, what are those cars built for. They seem like crawlers but the way it's built it seems like it would be extremely top heavy and bad for crawlers, kinda shows in the video also :). Either way they look awesome. You can always move the tires out if need be, might even look cooler in my eyes. Hows the little thing on the transmitter working for you, might be nice to drive one handed sometimes.

Oh yeah bud! It was a lot of fun.. and definately a chore to clean up. Not too bad though.. as we just dipped them in the water canal and swished it around a bit.. Worked great! A quick trip up to the shop and used the compressor to dry them both. A shot of CowRC silicone spray.. and away the trucks sit!

I thought limiting straps were for when you launch it it doesn't rip your shocks from the frame or axle like a real mega mud truck

Yup.. limiting straps are used for limiting suspension travel.. you are correct, but you are thinking too narrow. They do what you say, and more.. :)

I would suggest looking into castle brushless motors, most people say getting brush less is worth it and castle makes high quality (some are waterproof) motors. There are many other brands out there, I am not the most "well versed" in motors for lack of better words.
