I’m having a problem with my ollie. The problem is that the timing is off. When I ollie, I pop, then I drag my front foot up, but I life my back foot off too late, so basically I jump/lift my back foot up AFTER I finish the drag, I didn’t realize this until I looked at my ollie in slow-mo, so it's in my muscle memory now, is there a step to practice the timing of my ollie? Pls help. Another thing I realized is that I'm not using my ankle to flick and pop, I'm using my whole leg, is there a way to fix this? Edit: I found out how to solve the timing and flick/ankle pop problem, I don't try to pop and when I jump it automatically uses my ankle to pop, but I have a problem of trying to make my backfoot lift up higher, my front foot doesn't have that much time to drag up the grip, so it doesn't drag up the whole grip, I need help to overcome the fear of jumping very high with my back foot. (pls reply)
Richard Wang work on getting the pop, flick, and landing all in sinc. Try to practice with skater trainers or a good alternative: tennis balls. Or you can get comfortable trying on grass! Just a few of the tips I share with people. Hope it helps! Good luck!
Richard Wang also, I just read your edit. The part about being scared to jump high with your back foot. Don’t worry about that. JUST DO IT. You will be ok if you fall. Just get back up, it’s all part of skating man. You can do it dude!
Pls never buy a drone Andy xD and if u ever buy a better plane : watch some tutorials and practice in a simulator. If u would hit your hand / finger with on of these high quality motors (like u did) it would cut clean through it because u always just full throttled the stick xD
