In this video, I explain the basic terms such as KV for brushless motors used for RC model airplanes and drones, the values that express the physical dimensions of the motors, and the importance of the propeller size.
I tried to show it simply without going into too much detail to make it as understandable as possible.

Hi, I bought a 2212 1400kv motor, with a 8x6 propeller and my esc is always getting really hot. Mine is a 30A, should I go for a higher amperage one? If so, how many amps should it be? Thanks! P.S. my motor doesn't overheat, it's just the esc

The ideal propeller for 2212 1400KV motor is 8x4. But 8x6 can also be used. But it causes a little more heat. It is normal for ESCs to heat up to 50-60 °C. 30A ESC is suitable with 3S lipo. If you are using it with 4S, 40A can be necessary.

Thanks! I'm using a 3S lipo battery so it should be fine. Just two more questions: Should I go for a 8x4 propeller? Does a 8x4 propeller produce significant more/less thrust than a 8x6?
