I'm liking it so far. Not intended to be a criticizm but dont you think the tracks are a bit wide at 50 mm compared to the scale of the D8R...the tracks on these are quite narrow...but again they do look good on yours...will give plenty of bite
Glad your liking,i think I’m going to make it a d9t I have done some measurements and it’s not far off the scale,the tracks are about 10mm to wide but there is a company who has made a lgp d9 with wide tracks so I will base it on that. Cheers
Not criticizing by any means, I like what you're doing but I thought I'd mention that on a real dozer there is no front track frame pin. It actually floats on the rear pin and has a walking beam connecting the front. This way the two track frames and the main frame are all allowed to flex independently of each other. I like what you have so far though!
