Made my way out to Tulsa, OK for the RC Chili Bowl thanks to Whitz Racing Products. Email: stacktheback@gmail.com Follow STB on Facebook: / stacktheback
It would be really cool if there was a class that used old RC super late model rules on new chassis. 4wd, wings, offset wheels, no roof and huge side boards.
Dude no joke I have a open wheel modify slash brushless upgrade 3s lipo and you can barley keep it on a track y’all guys are a lot better than me if y’all are pushing power like I am cause I can’t keep mine on a track 😂😂😂
I'm so glad I got to go all 6 nights I met Rico Abbreau 2'time chili bowl champ He hugged me and gave me 2 autographs Everyone was jealous that saw it can't wait tell next year!
I miss running them did it for years… made it to b main in the mod latemodel at chilli few years back … missed to show by two positions… set up is difficult and consistency is everything
They are so much fun I have a 1/4 scale asphalt nascar cup car and asphalt modified in ,1/4 scale a bunch of tenth scale cars for carpet oval and road course racing which is insanely fast rc racing and have 1/4 scale sprint for dirt and 1/5 scale dirt lates rc cars are just as much fun as real oval racing I can't race real oval cars anymore cuse of back and this does it for the itch. Those latemodels and sprints you showed at begining guys are not cheap about 500-1k in those sprint cars lol it's hard at first but a blast. And our carpet track is same size as this track in video it's huge no banking on carpet oval racing but just as fun the cars actually handle better flat then on banking tbh and they haul the mail. We race every weekend and open practice every day and race Thursday nights every week as well we do oval one week road course following then onroad weeks we set jumps up and do off-road on Sundays
I had the locals with the mud buses and their brushless motors concerned while they watched me and my rc10 with a mid-mounted modified motor with brushes, nickel metal hydride batteries. Old school rules
do some guys run like the headsets with cameras attached to the cars? like they do with drones and such i feel like that’d be maybe easier to drive being somewhat first person. also curious to know if their’s any rules against that in this if it’s not regular already …
@@stacktheback right. They could have a whole separate class for it. It might bring more people over to the rc car racing scene from the FPV drone scene.
I liked the whole video but the only three problems. the auto focus on your closeup and blurring out the background. and snappiness of the view while your where turning the camera. content was great tho
