We try our hand at RC drifting for the very first time. Starting right at the beginning by building an RWD RC drift kit. The PDK by KKPit.
A professional drift kit designed for beginners to intermediate level RC drifters.
We take it to the track and we let the pros teach us to drift and see our new RC drift car.
Not a fully comprehensive instructional video. More of a general guide to RC drifting and RC drift cars. Featuring great people, great video shots, and some cracking music.

I'm not familiar with that brand. I use a Yokomo SD 1.0 ($500). I've also tried a guy's Reve D RDX (Roughly $280) and that felt really good with "out of the box" settings. A buddy of mine has 3racing D5s which are like $100 - $150 and those drift really well also, better than some others' $1k chassis. It all comes down to practice, tuning, and good electronics really.

Great video my friend . Very informative. We don’t have any drift tracks anywhere near me, but I would love to build a car like yours! You did a fantastic job! I’ve never heard of that make before. Think I would just get a Redcat and mod it from there if I get one. Those guys who taught you seemed very friendly and were really excellent drifters. You did a very good job as well for being new to it! Thanks for sharing Dude!👊🏼😎👍🏻

@zixi2067 hey it’s a great kit. Easy to assemble with plenty of tuning options. Quality of parts of parts is good. Everything fits snug. Fit with the right electronics and settings it’s a great chassis .

I wish kit manufacturers simply put all of the same size screws in one bag. M3s in one bag. M4s. M5s. Etc etc.

To be honest they did that with the shims and those bags were all labeled. Only the screws and bearings were in a single bag. Small issue I guess. At least it’s environmentally more friendly. 😁 Thanks for watching 👍🏼

@rcexpatshk Evan Tamiya kits bug me. Instead a part bag A that has M2,M3,M4. And then bag B that also has M2,M3,M4. Just put all the same screws in one bag. Your welcome. It was a good video.

How long did it take you to build the kit?

Not too long. Give or take 12-14 hours build time total. Should be quicker if not for the slightly confusing instructions. Still a fun build though however. Thanks for watching.

I remember the first time I learned about rwd rc drift cars. I knew I had to have one. I built up a mst rmx 2.0 and I’ve had a blast tuning it with spacers here and there, changing geometry, links and so on. It really is as fun if not more fun than what it looks like.
