I just got this Huina forklift, and now it actually has a steering servo that looks almost like a real servo and has the same size (but no proportional steering). And it is installed vertically instead of flat. So I have to replace it (it has 5 wires). Also have to try to make the steering angle a lot better by cutting away some plastic. Another huge task will be to install a drive axle/motor with a differential. It is really needed for accurate and tight turning angles with load. Would like to install tilt actuators too, but that can come later. But why did you have to replace the micro switch?
I have a question about the steering modification, with this servo do you need to change something in the RC control in order to achieve the linearity?
Thank you for answering!@@hburc3d387 , to clarify, you just connect the servo to the receptor (mc7rb), and the receptor directly to the direction lever connection?
