My latest FPV with Head Tracker build. DJI HD Goggles with Trinity Head Tracker Module re-wired for stand-alone use.
This is my first TEST run and I was very happy with the results, really easy to view the driving experience.
Steering wheel turns with wheels. All in a Redcat Gen 8 Axe with an INJORA open top Jeep hard body.
The most realistic way to FPV. Its like you've been shrunk to 7 inches tall and can actually get in your RC car.
Amazing FPV RC.
I have used this set-up in various forms before, including on a fast Arrma Talion and have detailed 'how to' videos on this channel about the design and build.

Done a handful of these FPV head tracking builds myself on all my 1/6th scale rc cars. I love your little dude’s arm movements. Would love to see the method for how everything on him is connected to let him move so realistically. Thanks for the video!

Awesome video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now, this setup is attached to a gaming motion simulator, and I think we have a new way to enjoy both Fpv and RC vehicles. Low latency is key. I know about cloud rc. Their system is cool. it just has some latency, im sure it will improve.

Thanks mate, I’ll make a longer explanation vid soon. I actually made the hands/gloves myself from Fimo (a coloured modelling clay you mould and then bake to harden)

Not exactly cheap, though. Which vehicle transmitter are you using and what range have you gotten? In this case, I assume the DJI system is not the limiting factor.

That actually looked quite realistic! Very nicely done! How did it feel to drive? I can imagine if the video feed is alright and the goggles are good quality, it's quite realistic... I couldn't see, did you wear headphones? Could you hear the motor? Or the fake engine sounds, that is, he he...

Cheers mate, the feed is full HD and is quite realistic, I didn’t wear headphones and the engine sounds did seem weird when coming and going but at least I could hear which way I had to drive to get back to myself…. Or if I got lost lol. Thanks for watching, more coming soon

It’s pretty tricky and needs a few extra components but worth it for the experience. I have a video from 3 years ago explaining what’s needed and how to set it up. Cheers for watching

It’s a Trinity head tracking module… I had to re-wire it and build the components and box to use on any goggle system

@@carmindogoncalves3922 it depends on what you already have, the HD goggles and the RC is the main expense, you’ll also want a transmitter with a ‘trainer’ (direct servo control) input that can be assigned to channels. My early vids explain all that lingo lol
