well, I can't understand how can it be possible that 3 people didn't like this video.... this is not a simple rc model: it is simply a masterpiece. you would have to start a commercial kit... I can't find the proper words: surely one of the few extraordinary model around shown on youtube.
Thank you ruggesan, this clip is nice. To me, Lama is beautiful like a piece of art. The scale, the structure ...etc . I learned flying in R22 but Lama is somehow extraordinary. The only heli can comes close is Gazelle. Thank you again, have a good day.
There are no words. Unbelieveable and incredible do come to mind. Congratulations! My wife, I am sure is scared to death my hobby will come to this one day! Hahaha!
Very very nice indeed sir. I have owned and flown many R/C helis over the past 20 years but never a turbine powered model. I live about 4km away from Vario U.K and if i decided to get a scale heli it would be a turbine Lama. Thanks for sharing this video.
That's an amazing model. But you should be taking off like a real helicopter. You want to be moving forward at all times including take off in case you have an engine failure. Then you still have some lift to land it. You don't want to crash that beautiful masterpiece!
Remarkable piece of equipment, the detail is amazing. Must be great to fly it, with such a size it looks stable and not so much affected of wind. Lama is something special to me, I own a 4-channel 340mm rotor diameter electric Lama from E-Sky. Not exactly the same level detail, but it is still a Lama :-) Thank you for sharing!
Bravo, Very good pilot, compliments! the flight is real, calm and precise. The real LAMA is a precision worker, it does't love speed. I had the lucky to see the real one a lot 20 years ago and more flyiing in Italy by the pilots of Vigili del Fuoco coming form Trento airport (Mattarello). Amazing!
Thank you so much for such nice comments! this is an exact replica of the one that flies on the Italian alpes by Air Walser. It took 1.5 years to complete this model and it flies like a dream. If you come one day to Northern California around San Fransisco contact me and you can come and see the Lama in action. A good friend of mine is building the Alouette III some scale and next time I see him we will get both birds in the air at the same time. Gonzalo
Great!! I marveled at the perfection of the model, the technic of the flight, the sound, and all. If it's only a video without you, it must looks real.
Sweet!Love those RC Choppers and I understand they're difficult to learn to fly.I suppose that means buy an (inexpensive) model to learn on!To crash one of these would probably mean.....Oh NO! another home loan.
That is the coolest RC Helicopter footage I have ever seen. And your Piloting skills are perfect.......you are obviously a helicoptor pilot who does RC as a hobbie?
I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say maybe $20k to build this? What do you all think? I mean every piece had to be machined and that isn't cheap! Unless of course he owns a mill and a lathe. Great engineering!!! Nice smooth landing!! Kudos!!
@kimmer6 I concur with you 100%. This is the most outstanding video I've seen and this helicopter details and realism is just hard to take in. I've been watching similar videos tonight in youtube but this is the cream of them all for sure. I wish I had 1/10% the talent of the builder :)!
j'adore j'en ais la chaire de poule tellement ses bon se bruit de turbine magnique se n'es que du pur plaisir ... bon pilote es très belle machine ml68
Awesome helicopter! I have the Vario Benzin Acrobatic which is the best flying helicopter I've ever owned. I eventually want to get into scale with a Vario Hughes 500 or UH-1 Huey.
I'd hang a card board box with a string and pretend I'm dropping a care package. (MW2 FTL) haha, just kidding. I remember I got a 40$ rc helicopter that was like a 1/4 of that size, I was so happy. :\ Great video.
You did an outstanding job on this helo. What is the flight time, and how long did it take you to build it? I can't get over how real it looks and how steady it is in flight. You really should mount a small camera in it and post that video.
Really nice, very impressive. That's a very nice hobby. My wife bought me a Syma Gyroscopes system S107 Metal Series Heli, very, very inexpensive it only flies in the house because it's so small, but I've had so much fun flying, learning the pitch and other things. After seeing yours, I will definitely get a more advanced heli and work my way up. As you know, you have to start somewhere. What kind of speed and altitude?
amazing hobby lolz, so totally worth the investment!!!! :D lolz, put the pro cam on it from the inside in the cockpit, that would be so cool!!! :D lolz XD
very exciting to watch , and good control, you show over the helicopter, how about a high definition camera on it next time? that would be very good to watch. and i have to ask ? about what sort of money are we talking about here to buy one of these machines?
