I’d be hard pressed to have more fun with ANY RC, than I do with my thrasher 27. The ONLY maintenance required is a bushing every 50-60 runs or so (depending on how dirty your water is). It’s so simple too. I simply cannot stress enough how amazing these boats are!!! Glad to see you’ve got some in the fleet now, Kev!

@@adamthomas4638 it’s a small operation. The boats are better built than you would expect. And Scott, the gentleman who developed, and brought the thrasher to market, is probably one of the best people in the RC industry. He stands behind his products! I’ve seen him take care of issues that thrasher owners have come up with, that others wouldn’t have even entertained. There are many hidden values in these boats. Having the owner live and breathe his product, goes a long way. Go buy a $1000 traxxas XRT, and run it 50-60 times. Guarantee that $1000 truck is going to climb in cost and time tinkering QUICK… 60 runs into your thrasher, and your out a $10.00 bushing, and 5 minutes of your time. You literally can’t ask for more.

@@Boogie_the_cat the corrosion from the salt water would be your bigger problem. You’ll find salt water RC to be THE most expensive hobby to get into.., basically one and done 🤣🤣

You need to watch Cleetus McFarland, they ride around in mini boats that are jet powered and they basically bash them around as well. Onto trees and banks along rivers etc, real crazy fast but also crazy bashing.

It's a mini Jet Boat! They make these in America as full-size boat kits made from aluminum which you can buy and build yourself. They use the engines and drivetrains out of a stock Jetski. The grate on the bottom is the important bit as it prevents large objects from destroying the propulsion jet.

Kev, have you heard of RC "snow boating?" It's driving an RC boat in the snow. There are a few videos on RU-vid of it. Anyway, it would be awesome if you did a couple snow boating videos over the winter. This jetboat won't work for it, but the Traxxas boat you have, and the others I've seen you test on this channel will work. You don't need to do any mods or anything...it just needs to be a propeller-driven RC boat. Anyway, I hope to see some over the winter. Keep up the great work, man!

should make a ramp. maybe few noodles and plastic sign or something. flick it out in the water few rocks in a bottle so it dont move to much and rope so you can pull it in. rope wont even wrap up in the boat so cool

Kevin have you run River Jet Boat 🚢 yet, from Arrma. The battery tray straps on left side is a pain to install. Hopefully you can modify in better location. Love all your videos.
