Pilots check ailerons but sometimes not correctly. They just check to see that they *move* but that's not enough. My check is "Right UP" and "Left UP" when moving the aileron stick to those respective positions. I have a friend who just a few days ago did exactly that... checked that they moved but did not even realize that they were reversed. Thankfully caught it before he was airborne. Also, there was not nearly enough airspeed to lift off, so even a tiny bit too much elevator would have caused a tip stall.
Hello, yes, it happened to me too with the ailerons, always check carefully before first test flights and lift off with enough airspeed ! Have a Good Day !
Well, its repaired already ! Yes, thats my guess, too but the pilot said he checked before take off but it was the first flight after he got the jet or maybe he steered left instead of right because he was not standing behind the plane, anyway, have a Good Day !
Yes, thats what our club members also say but I am not sure because the ailerons go full left maybe the pilot steered left instead of right because he was not standing behind the plane. Who knows, anyway its repaired, have a Good Day !
Yes, thats what I thought watching the video the ailerons are to the left maybe the pilot mixed that up because he was not standing behind the plane, who knows, have a Good Day !
