DarkDragonWing - I bought one of your steering wheels. Not disappointed but didn't think it was gonna be as big as it was. Prolly not gonna fit in my drift car interior but still gonna try. Wish me luck...
Awesome build, excellent fabrication and execution, only thing I would add or change is make it tandem axle just like the life size trailer would be. Your race car that you loaded onto the trailer is amazing as well. It looks pretty damn realistic, the way you made the plastic look like crumbled metal is a very nice touch that adds quite a bit of realism to the car
Awesome I noticed the cutting wheels wearing out, there's a diamond cutting wheel from harbor freight that fits perfect on dremel, cut aluminum, carbon fiber, sheet metal, and a little thicker stuff, was very surprised with these cutting wheels
Awesome build I so want to make one now. Might i suggest one small thing. Instead of doing all that work on the servo to reverse it. Get a Y Harness with a reveres, Planes use them all the time and work good.
I was very intrigued in this build! Good Job! I would have made one minor change however, I would have added 2 wheel dips on the front of the trailer and 2 in the back that your drift RC would sit into, make it a little easier for transporting. Seeing your skill here in building I know it wouldn't be much for you.
Brian Fuhrmaneck or added a small flap on the servo mechanism so it secured the car as it raised ... but we are only suggesting tweak to the masters work
Very good trailer. I liked how you engineered everything..... The only thing I would change is the speed of the lift. I would try to slow it down a little. It would be more scale like speed. Thanks for sharing.
That is a very cool build. The one thing I would suggest is a servo "slower". If your transmitter does not have one, and I have never seen a ground trans with one, you can buy one to slow the up and down action of the trailer. Airplane guys use them for landing gear etc. Maks it look a lot more scale.
Olive RC, how long have you been in the hobby? Cause you have every part to do whatever you want. I like how you showed how to manually reverse a servo. It will help many
#oliverc if you'd add servo saver to each servo, you'd have a bit of suspension on this trailer, and would maybe save the servo in some extreme cases. Would be so cool :-)
Sieht ja gut aus , habe dirch deine anregungen und video´s auch schon einige modelle gebaut . Unter anderem auch ein Trailer. Tolle Videos , mach weiter so . :-)
Story made by me I gota make this .He go to his room and said"wait do i have instruments"?And went out from his room ."Mommy i want the things oliverc have
