I'm pretty experienced in nitro tuning and I cannot get my Novarossi 28-8 to idle without the wheels spinning. My tune is fine, but I cannot find a way to fix it. My guess is the clutch springs are not tight enough. Any ideas?
I will spin the bell clutch both ways with engine out and it spins fine until it suddenly locks on and wants to turn one way,replaced clutch plates and it spun fine,put motor in and tried electric start all was fine until it locked on and my car wanted to take off?any ideas could the motor be stuffed
I have ofna ultra and other day it wouldn’t move. I heard gears slapping. Looks like the teeth are just far enough away to slap but not move car. Did the engine move? Screws seemed tight. I’m lost.
Re check the the motor to see if it vibrated loose .a good way to check the gears is run a small strip of paper through them it should make train tracks on the paper but not cut through the paper .good way to check gear mesh. double check everything to make sure nothing moved or came loose
Idk if you'll even see this comment. Bt for my Wl toys 12428 i press on the throttle then i let go it automatically goes on brake and or go backwards. Got any ideas why it does that?
I have the same issue trying to break in my Hobao Hyper sst truggy. It took me forever to even get it to crank up. Out of the the box settings were wrong my wife had to tweak it a bit. Then it finally started and tried to take off full speed. Had to turn the idle down to shut it off. After a couple more tries to pull start broke now I’m waiting on new parts smh
AYKAY I’d suggest buying a Traxxas Link for your remote, you can mess with the throttle settings there. Or it can be the hardware and you might have a piece broken.
@@nitrokyosho - ah ok. I'll check the throttle settings and idle screw. Is there a default setting for the idle screw, ie. tighten the screw then so many turns out? Thanks for the reply!
Check the idle is adjusted property and make sure your linkage is moving freely and not binding that controls the throttle also the carb should only be open 1 mm at start up and idle. So once the servo battery is plugged in before you start it make sure the carb is only open 1 mm .
Please please help me my nitro stampede will just rev up when I give it throttle and I will not move what do I do I accidentally hit a curb and when it’s off the ground it runs it on the ground it is not move
Inside the sour gear there is friction pegs, I lost a few of my friction pegs on my slash nitro and it would rev up but not move . I replaced the friction pegs and it fixed that problem! Now my slash accelerates by itself 😂
