Lets build a car, put $1000 into it, drive 4 hours, wait 3 hours to run, then race for less that 2 seconds, tear our car to pieces. Then drive back 4 hours, and get anxious and excited about going back. I raced dirt oval, paved oval, carpet oval, off road since 1988. I know some wind caused you some problems here but no way i'm doing this. You guys have some killer determination.
What's up, man? I appreciate you taking your time. I'm sure we all have equal dedication. It's just that we like the challenge of it. Drag Racing can be very hard and it is a thankless sport. My advice is to start off slow and chip way quicker and quicker. And you won't be so discouraged. I don't know the group you're in or anything like that so I don't know why you're waiting so long to make passes.
@@maliklowry1236 Thank you man. I really appreciate it. I find that when I turn the toe in. It makes the car real Darty and I'm assuming because of a short wheelbase. For me neutral caster camber and toe as work best And then I just slow down the steering speed in the gun
I've been into rc cars for well over 40 years, never done the drag cars. Why y'all keep hitting the walls and crashing ? Is it really that hard? Just curious...
Hey what's up Bryan ? it can be challenging at times to keep traction the whole time. the back end of the car is trying to get around the front end so yes sometimes it can be difficult , and I'm not the best at it...
@@powermadracing5116 I'm definitely going to give it a try.. I have a few Speedrun cars that I installed old-school futaba helicopter gyro's and those cars stay straight pretty good. Do you guys use any type of steering assist?
Bro do you even know what your saying? One minute your saying your mad cause you don’t know who sprayed the track and your gonna find out one way or the other who did it then in your next sentence your saying you know who did it and your not happy with them. So what is it? You know who did it or you don’t?
It's pretty comical at this point isn't it? They know who did it and they said they couldn't come back... in a month later They're racing there ! so it's like nothing ever happened. Why even get upset if your knot going to do anything ?
@@lastxhurra What's that wrong it seems like there's no rhyme to reason and the problem it seems is that there's so much prep up front say the 1st 10 or 15' ..we have to add so much power to get out but when you get out past that 10' you get free because the prep is not there as much so it's a tuner's game interesting and can be very difficult
Questions: What is the scale of the vehicles? Is the track 1/8 or 1/4 mile scale? What are the weight limitations? What are the power limitations? "power shift here we go"
