Here in Indiana where the James Dean Festival brings all the boys to the yard, I have seen some gorgeous Rat Rods. One of my favorites this year, (very similar to most of your RC Rat Rods but 1 to 1) was one that was rusted, numbered but the driver side door was yellow.....a clean yellow door that set a narrative that one day this will look brand new again. I thought, usually gear heads wouldn't think to go in that direction...create a fictional story that will never come to fruition. Just an idea to maybe help you advance this project. I love the blue....
At the moment it is giving me HW Bone Crusher/Rat Fink vibes. If I was building it, I would go with that style and with a pinch of Gas Monkey thrown it too.

aliexpress has the front ends both in black or chrome, depending on store they usually go for around 15-20 bucks each, i have a couple of each colour as i build the semi trucks
Yup, Eaglemoss went bankrupt and officially out of business in August. It sucks. They made cool stuff; those wheels are super dope!!! I'd definitely say ditch the fenders if you're not running rear fenders and running boards on it.
