It is a loooong time ago, I made my last studio video. But I thought the time had come, to do it again. :-) Today, I show you this very nice dump truck made by ScaleART. I hope yu enjoy the video. Best wishes from Germany, BJ
Hi Great video long time subscriber and thanks you for doing it in English as I dont speak german hower still watch all your interesting content Regards Mark
Hi Mark, thank you so much for your comment! I highly appreciate it. I'm always trying to do my best although I know, I could do it much better in Germany, but I want you to understand as much as possible - so I'm trying to do it in English. Best wishes from Germany, BJ
Congratulations on this beautiful truck. Our great dream is to be able to have a beautiful truck of this more this is a dream that unfortunately I will not be able to realize because I am not able to buy one. Send a salve to Brazil.
Transfer Case, that's what we call the center differential you referred to near the end of your video. That is the most amazing and fantastic "toy" drive system for a remote control car! I'd love to see it up close and in action. Most videos don't show up close details of the differential system at work. More videos please ! 👍🏻
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
Thank you! If I where you, I would start with ScaleART or Scaledrive. If you ask me, there is not much on the market, that is comparable. And if you buy something else, you might buy twice. ;-) Best wishes, BJ
Thank you ...sorry talking about "scale art or scale drive" is that a course for learning or studying? ...that things (RC trucks) are so inadequate in Tanzania and am so interested with that..what should I do?
Mr.mysterious03 a lot. Be best to look at there web site scaleart-shop.de as you can spec what motor, hydraulic or electric tipping, with or without controller. Colours, wheels, ready built or kit etc... the list goes on. But as a basic price to get you started your looking around €5,500 +
Mr.mysterious03 that price is a fully work model. Just the truck as a non work model, for display is just over €2000 Not cheap at all. I was looking at getting one but i can't justify the price for my needs 😔
Nick Allcorn yeah man! 2000 euros is still a big money. Billionaires toy :p No doubt they have put heart and soul into making a realistic RC model. It is out of reach for most of model collectors like us i think!
Mr.mysterious03 you can get a rtr version from another company. Still cost £2000. Lesu are making some really good parts now. This type of truck 1:14.5 or the 1:14 scale can easily weigh in at 12kg Scaleart uses alot of brass parts. Where alot of the companies use aluminum which costs less, or even plastic parts on entry level. I ended up getting a 2nd hand non working truck and stripped it down. Rebuilt it and replaced parts as i went. Still unfinished... one day, working progress as they say.
Metal 98%, hidraulic pump, dif lock combinations etc etc. like real, one like real one, like real one... Than this is place where put battery 🙄... For 10 000 $, way not scale disel engine, maybe like simple 2 stroke Detroit engin and sound of scale model is gteat. Ok 10 000 $ but how much will be cost with scale disel, petrol engine LIKE REAL ONE for that money? Will be great exempl for real life scaleing problem of monopol rip of but difrent direction... nobody, car manufacturers offer car, electric car with out battery saw we can see how much cost car and how much battery.
Hi, I do homemade machines, tractors, winches and backhoes totally homemade, only that electrical, my materials are pieces of umbrella, wood, plastics and others, my controls are made coupled for lack of remote control, I wanted very much to have one of those your my bad friend but I'm poor, I really liked your video, congratulations
Boa tarde Willames jose! esse modelo aí, vc só encontra na Alemanha só o kit custa 5500 euros, e ele finalizado 8200 euros. uma boa grana heín!!!!!!......
*plays euro truck sim with a force feed back steering wheel, pedals with clutch and an h shifter and still has money to spare* yeah. As cool as this model is, its not worth the price
For that money you can bay ewery possibly tools(cnc, lathe .. etc) for making one like this or eny crazy idea... You choose! And with that tools you can built scale 4 stroke petrol engine...if just toy for you not hobby and you have 100 000 $ budget for toys, enjoy... If that will be fraction of my money i will have real zil-131, ural or maz537 build expeditions truck and go friday, saturday, sunday to mountain, nature.
Wow, the coolest r/c truck I have ever seen ! Thanks for the great video and the excellent explanation of all the details. Btw just curious; any reason you chose this particular model? I was looking at their website and found that there is a whole bunch :) Would you be able to provide the direct link to this particular model? There's a bunch that is pretty close to this.
Hi Bjoern, remember me ? Beautiful truck ! Still thinking about the 963 Cat, trying to justify the huge expense . So the center gearbox is called a "Transfer Case" and the hydraulic dump piston sections are called "Stages". Your doing great with your English, so that little bit of information will add to it. Also over here in the states we don't call it a driving cab, just a "Cab". Stay well ........Tim
Hi Tim, for sure! Good hearing from you! Are doing well? All the best for you, thanks for the words and of course thanks for watching! Best wishes from Germany, Bjoern
The center drive mechanism is called a transfer case. The differentials are in the middle of the drive axles, and they are powered by the drive shafts, which is in turn powered by the transmission, which is powered by the motor.
