My new truck arrived... " new to me but second hand and in need of tlc" I bought a King Hauler that I can actually use and play with so it will be a smallish project but nothing dramatic as I dont want this to end up another shelf queen, anyway enjoy the video as we have a look at the new addition to the family.

make sure you look at the Lesu rear tire they are great off road tires

Of course, I have those on my Mercedes slt 👍 Really happy with rusty though as I build them then I don't like to use them as im scared of scratching or breaking them but this I can actually enjoy 👍

Take it easy on the road sir. Trucks shouldn't speed and drive like that. There's a speed limit. LoL. Thank goodness you didn't have a trailer on.

hi you got some good/great vids on here but can you help me I am building a king hauler but can't find anything about fitting a servo to the fifth wheel latching arm have you done this I now it can be done but can't find anything also using the Tamiya o1 sound light kit keep up the great work

RC TRUCKING UK scotty555babe - going to do 2, one will be like ours & the other a replica I found from Europe. Just not going to using the plastics but both will off road capable 1/14 Scale. The one will also be 7 axle with 2 steers. The other either a 6×6 or 8×8, haven't decided yet but leaning towards 8×8. Yeah the new rig will be a blast, cool ya'll got a good deal on it. Hoping to find one like that myself. Enjoy Brother, ya'll deserve it & more!

Wow 7 axles... that thing will be a tank, id really love to do one but the cost of scale hydraulics is pretty daunting... Maybe one day, I could always save up 👍

Those older ones were a lot of fun basic but fun. I sitting here building the Tamiya container trailer for my Scania R620. Can’t wait to see the video of it working.👍👍

I have the skeletal trailer on my Scania.. its a quick easy build.. just endless nuts and bolts down the chassis lol... Have fun with it 👍

that's got all the original stuff in that they sold when they launched it in 1993, and the same as what I've still got.... the Electrical Lighting Unit; pull it out very carefully because I sold one for over £100 in fully working order... save the 3 Channel Techniplus radio, AS-11 servos and AT5 ESC and sell it all together... Tamiya Collectors go mad for retro stuff like that... I've got a set of instructions for the Electrical Lighting System if you want a copy....

I've carefully removed it all and labelled up all the wiring and everything 👍 The radio esc and servos I kept together as it says they're only compatible with each other so I'll throw those on ebay... It's running like a dream now with a couple of mods and upgrades... at least I have a truck I can actually use and not worry of it breaking 😀

the radio and receiver are only compatible with each other as they were made specifically modified into 3 Channel for the King Hauler... the AS-11 servo can be used in anything that only needs a light duty servo, and I use the AT-5 ESC in the VOSA Range Rover...

can see why you fell in love with "rusty" would look great as a roll on roll off load on a low loader for your grand hauler

Thanks there was just something special about this old truck, I have a low loader but it's European not a low boy.. but as you say it would look great 👌
