Yay for used TF2's, lol My first test drive on this rig ended with a destroyed front axle, so we pick up by replacing it. Also some leaf spring experimenting goes badly. But we got a cool CB antenna too so....

Hey bud how about adding some nerf bars out of round aluminum. It will give it that lower look plus add protection. Just a thought.

I am digging it!, it almost looks real sitting in that garage. I really want to build a crew cab Silverado dually rig. Just don't have a 3d printer to get the body and start it 😢. I will find a way to do it.

I've seen people modify the steering knuckles to take small bearings, but I think your assessment of the threads was correct. I made my own front shakel reverse mounts to both raise the spring's mounting position and move it forward a few mm. But I wanted to make room for some 4.75 tires. Did the body lift too (made room for a bigger battery). If RC4WD is out of stock on the K44s I've seen them on ebay for about the same price but with free shipping. I like where you ended up with this thing! Short of getting some 1.7s and semi tires with undermount blocks (RC4WD has those) you're not going to make it look more like a "factory stock" truck. The stock TF2 tires are definitely rock/root catchers and you really have to pay attention to where you put your tires. If it's still too stiff and you already took the springs out of the shocks run on the mains until it starts getting too soft. Mine started leaning to one side so I just added the Springs back in on one side and when it started to lean the other way I added the other ones back in. I think that had to do with torque twist.

I would love to see a conversion done on this truck with element enduro diff because I think that would be a pretty good bulletproof setup

15:00 Would chopping off the rear mount rod where it attaches to the body and putting the replacement rod alongside, welded/epoxyed etc to the existing rod so it looks like a side by side shotgun work? 👉🏻II 🤔🙂 Edit, I should really watch the videos till the end before gobbing off in the comments😂

That bushing after tapping to m4. May be a head ache. I’m looking to get just new axle and or hubs. 🫡✨🏆🎥🏆

I had the same problem out of my rig... I drilled an extra hole in the leaf so I slid the Axel forward... If that makes since too you... Worked perfectly fine 😃

Why couldn't you just move the rear mounts farther back on the rails? It might add a bit more stability for the body.

Still love that Blazer, darn plenty of work, might find something later on to help change the Stance...

A ready to run truck is the best way to get going. Then you can customize it as you learn. These Rc4wd trailfinder 2 are my favorites platform. Super realistic trucks.

Don’t the blazer body mount adapters move the body back a bit? That’s why your supposed to run those for that body

I thought it just made the wider body fit the narrower chassis mounts. Ill have to look into it.

The previous front axle could probably be fixed by tightly packing JB weld (maybe their steelstik product?) In the holes and then redrilling n' tapping the axle for m3 again. And as for a body mount, I've been playing with using bent sheet metal to make more realistic body mounts for my Hilux so the cab and bed are seperate. Perhaps such a thing could be done here?

Thanks for all your hard work making these videos. I'm new to the hobby and get inspired to go farther every time I see the incredible level of detail you put into your builds.
