One great thing about these tires is the wide lugs, and open shoulders. They keep mud from building up in the treads so they stay clean better, and they dig in really good instead of spinning on top. I have a set of Interco Super Swampers on my truck, and I love them. They are noisy as hell, but they don't build up mud and snow in them.
I have 3 sets of these... just love them...first set mounted on 1/2 offset pro line wheels glued on work great more straight up and down.. no side bulge.. I used a power drill to mount my Axial bead lock wheels and it was easy... saved a ton of time. I agree for crawling it's hard to beet the stock Canyon tires... yet for everything else it impossible to beet these tires. great on all monster trucks..I have also mounted a set on zero offset wheels, yet recommended to use offset hubs with that set up.. those work on the E Revo on stock 3.8 wheels. TCS has both at a great cost...about $130.00 a set yet they'll last for ages.
Yes, 2 pairs of $40 tires is $80, then the beadlock rims are around $25, a pair. Thats $130 right there. Then dont forget these tires are HUGE and shipping them is about $20. So totals around $150 for all 4 tires with rims.
I can buy a pair for $39.99 + $7.99 shipping on eBay . So for all four tires without the rims , it would be $95.65 , but like I said that's without rims and 3.8 rims aren't cheap
When I got my set... I wasn't impressed with having to have the bead lock wheels.. I bought zero offset E Revo pro-line wheels and glued them to the wheel... much easier mounting situation. I run them on my EMX because they fit better with the offset, they are too tight on the summit. true these are expensive, yet they will out last any other tire out there. plus it depends on where and how you are going to be driving these..a great tire.. just can't be beat.. tall and shinny I love mine
I have the 2.2 Mudslinger tires but they are small even smaller than the stock tires I got with the truck I guess My question is how many different series are there and do they make a bigger size that fit a 12mm Hex
I have had no issues with rubbing on the body with mine. A guy named djandv helped me pick out my stuff and answered alot of my questions, maby stop by his channel and ask him any of your questions.
Rustlervxl09 Hey, did you get problems with the inner ring of the Axial beadlock ring rubbing against the steering toe links on full lock (I am using the same rims on my ERBE and have has to put 12mm axle extenders on to solve the clearance problem)? Thanks.
lol I just ordered one set of these today. and I just got my set of 4 dick cepek 3.8 beadlock wheels on today. what killer rims man. and way better cause the beadlock ring is on the inside of the wheel so no screws are showing on the outside. nice tire though
