Used the 745 a for years with 8 piece band. They never let us down ever, just superb. Now with a new band as I relocated and we are using the 935, only one gig in but they are great.
I would say the 945 are superb since they have the 4" compression driver, but if you combine with a sub you broaden your horizon in terms of depth on sound!
The ART 9 Series has a more full bodied sound in my opinion. When you switch the ART 7 MK5 to XBOOST you do get a similar sound with a nice rich warm bottom end but the 9 Series does feel wider and highs are clearer without the need for XBOOST.
@@RandomDj-oy9zh Since I don’t use a sub, I got the 915 and every time I find myself at limit volume with boost on. Otherwise they’re either not loud enough or not bassy enough. So little to no headroom left for me… the limiter works very well though
@@francescog53550 I understand that you would like more bass but the boost is actually recommended just for low volume output, that's why you clip, the manual itself gives this info... For eq I just use an external mixer if I need that 3db more treble/ bass I can say that a 715 MK4, clips way faster than 915, just my experience
@@RandomDj-oy9zhone thing I noticed is that the limiter kicks in at the same volume no matter what preset I use. For example, let’s say that I hit the limit while I’m on Boost. Then I switch the preset to Linear or Live without touching the volume. The limiter will still be triggered no matter what preset I use. That’s the reason why I keep boost on even at full power. On top of that I also cut the mids and highs on my mixer. that horn can be very loud.
