RCF EVOX 8 Overview with DJ Nick Scott for agiprodj.com 

A buddy of mine bought a pair of the Evox 8 and built a 30' x 40' recording and jam room and have the tops mounted to the back wall and the 2 subs are under a drum riser that he built. Last weekend we had a bunch of musician's over for an all out jam, and these speakers just rocked it. We had singer /song writers, classic rock bands, hell we even had a bag pipe player and these speakers didn't miss a beat. I thought the room was acoustically ok, but when musician's started to play they sounded great. I wouldn't hesitate to use these out side with a power rock band. They kick too!

Just demo'd these in person while intending to buy the Bose L1 compact. No contest. Rcf Evox 8 is the real deal 👍👌

RCF Evox series is movable and easy to setup with good sounds quality.

I'd use this for my bands. Great Sounding System!

Hi DJ Nick, greetings from Italy!! I'm going to change my old Mackie SRM350 with Evox 8 that's sound great... I was wondering, where did you find the moving heads stands?? They look like so cool!! Last question, which is the moving heads model? Are you using a light mixer to sync they togheter? Thanks in advance and sorry for too may questions!!!! I love your setup!!!!

Hello I have one question I have 2 mackie thump 15 and 1 mackie 18s sub ,I'm thinning to buy rcf evox 8. You believe is better for quality and volume from mackie setup?

Your right rcf evox8 now they have j8 I’m going to pick up 4 off j8 they sound good and it’s a fast and light wight setup time its easer thanks I should off done this long time I been using qsc k10 and kw152 with kw181 there good speakers but it takes a lot off room and it’s heavy damit 😂 lol thanks bro djkt is out🤙🏾

I want to see a frequency sweep. I want to see the actual curve. Your site doesn't have it. See I look at these and I see that tiny mast and a sub. What about the midbass? No, I think I'm going to stick with my home brew cabs for now. They might be big but so is the sound they produce. Before you guys troll me, understand that I've been building speakers for 20+ years. I know about thiele small parameters, dampening material. and tuning ports. I run two Mackie M2400 amps. One for my subs and the other for my mains. My subs are a tandem half wave/full wave T-line design driven by black widow 18"s and my mains are dual 15" standard tuned port cabs. When I drop bottom, you feel it for 3 blocks and these cabs are phenomenal at lower volumes. There's no rattle and no distortion. It's going to take a lot of convincing that what you have here is better. I'd rather lug my monsters around and have a flat curve than use those piddly little things and have a curve that likely looks like twin peeks. Especially with the price point even though their powered.

hello ,i got a small question,most of the set ups i see here said to be for weddings are so much different in terms of speaker placement that is commonly done where i stay.....such that if you were to come and set up this side,u kinda cant do as yo set up there because the dance floor would be right infront of the high table...so, how effective are those speakers if you were to set them up maybe 10m apart.......i hope i make sense there :-)

Hi Just have one question. is this 2 speakers setup good enough up to 300 peoples?

Why does one have to move the speaker to uncover. It´s the other way around with these covers. From the truck onto the roller cart, from the cart to the stage (That should be it and then take off the cover) Now one has to lift the 23kg sub again to get it out of the cover and move it to it's place. 4 times lift instead of 2. Not for my wife, forget it......
