Following 4 month investigation, the Manitoba RCMP have arrested 7 people in connection to a human trafficking operation in Portage La Prairie. Kurt Black reports
You don't think the r****ts are the ones to be focusing on here? That's kind of the root cause of the problem. Not drug addicts being desperate for free drugs.
Family? Oh, right, they allowed these young ladies to be out doung this stuff. Why always blame the government for something the family should be providing? There is also something called victim services who actually set up counseling and other services. You know, since the families can never be counted on until the girls are missing.. @trudisinclair8817
She'll cry in court and express regret and have her sentence reduced. A man would rightly get the book thrown at him, because women's tears are often seen as evidence in court. Recent studies show female psychopaths are just as common as male psychopaths.. women are just better at hiding their actions. Remember, those tears are not tears of remorse, they are tears of regret that they got caught.
@@user-ef2jz1ck4j Look at the record of catch and release of the judicial system,it results in the killings of innocent people. You live under a rock? Try keeping up with the latest news,if you can.
Well would you look at this,,,the rcmp were criticized over car theft and human trafficking,,,now they decided to finally do the job there paid to do,,,,why they weren't dealing with it in the first place is disturbing,,,and I have seen no one ask this question,,,why weren't you doing your job,,it took being called out before action was taken, why why why??????
Wow I'm surprised...the RCMP dis more than a seat belt ticket or a speeding ticket. I just hope her father didn't threaten the bad guys! Cause he would have been charged with defending your children
This is disgusting!!! You'll call out a small indigenous group, but hide the bigger culprits and gangs that do this in very large numbers. You can tell who gets their pockets lined here. SHAME
Why people like those drugs? once you start you cannot stop? if that's the case why they do not do more against drug trafficking? like serious penalties, it seems like they have been soft
Did anyone say that drugs and drug addictions are the hook to human trafficking ? The drug culture has never been so prevalent . This bullshyt about being a disease must stop . It's a business , and everyone is profiting ! Even you !!!
I am positive the first nation's women that was charged with this horrible crime committed these crimes because of generational trauma caused by colonizers.
Here in Nova Scotia, we are one of the leading sources for trafficking. Likewise, most communities have various forms of business-based money laundering. Our RCMP don’t seem to do much about either, or at least that’s my impression.
So much negativity yes this system is destroyed- but some of us are trying to help fight it. The important part is thst the children are safe now and theres less of them off the streets and it being brought to light. Educate yourselves and think about what you do to help that is so great.
Yes I do know people that were trafficked. I've also had men try to traffick me but luckily I knew the signs when I was a kid and did not go along with their tricks. You're likely a guy so I don't know why you'd even be acting like this doesn't happen just because you have no experience with it. Trafficking women and children has always been the largest slavetrade on earth, and still is in 2024.
