Very very very nice job - what a lovely "elsie" I'm restoring a couple of TDR250's, two RGV VJ21's a Gamma MkIII and a Cagiva Mito (with a bored, stroked and tuned 350YPVS engine) but I gotta get me another RD350LC - they are just sooo gawgeous !!! :)
My jaw just hit the floor. What a stunning bike. Ordinarily I am not a chrome guy but it all comes together here, like a MF. Awesome. I had a '75 RD in '85 it was mint but stock except for shocks and twin coils. And a personal note on the Yamalube tank "Elvis was fat when he died."
very very very EXELEND jop you have done there what can i say this projects are only for those who love these bikes i used to have a rd350ypvs with micron excausds in 1984 until i got a tzr 250 1kt untill 2004 now i.m restoring a tzr 250 3ma (must be finished soon)but i love the sound of two stroke engine just keep on doing and i think i would never ever sell it.WELL DONE my friend(i fell like a friend of one who loves an RD) just such a shame that they don't build bikes like this .
Fantastic looking example. But i'm still glad i sold mine & bought my much more desired (to me) 750 Slabby. I fell out of love for my LC & i sold it to a mate who restored it then sold it but still only just broke even. D197 ELJ is my old LC if anyone sees it.
Is this liquid cooled? and if so how did you mount the radiator? I was thinking about taking a banshee engine and put it on a cafe style bike or a bike that would make a good cafe racer
Thanks for the kind words I spent £5000 on this one, and sold bike about a year ago, just about to finish a 250lc with 350lc top and bottom end with all the running gear so will be a nice 350 on matching 250lc frame and crank cases for some lucky bugger
Ljt991w that's my old bike looks a lot better now, is it still running the Terry Beckett ported barrels many happy hours spent frapping around the isle of Wight .originally red and white
microns an a twin that's the best tyhing ive heard since I had a pair on my x7 but the best sound in the world is is a 350lc with microns some1 has 1 in dunfermlin I heard it this summer sounds better than any car
***** Hi, thanks for the reply. That's ok though because I have had one built since I asked you. It is very similar to your bike in many ways. Would you like to see it? When I saw your bike I wanted to buy it so much I must admit. Now I have my own and it is pretty awesome, like yours. I will upload a video and you can give me your thoughts. I think you will like it. My name is Mark, whats yours mate?
