What you guys think about sound effects for editing? Not like the whooshes for transitions, but like vine booms, mickey mouse noises, etc? Something like Plugworld1's videos, for example. I've slowly been drifting away from the simplistic editing approach, but I don't know if I'm going too far in the wrong direction.
