Some people got full blown cameras while others were walking around with $6 dollar sd cards. There’s footage of it too and you can feel the awkwardness

But mark and RDC was giving the storytime talking abt how unprepared and random the panel was 😭 at the end of the panel Aff balled out and bought a bunch of super expensive equipment that he was gonna give away to random ppl in the crowd I’m talking abt like hundred dollar cameras and lighting equipment. Etc. Lmfao people went backstage only for some of them to get $1000+ kits and some people just got SD cards cus nothing was prepared 😭

I guess the issue people have is that they don't have a consistent schedule. They say they have so many things in the works but the releases are sporadic. I personally don't care one way or the other, I just make time to watch when they make new releases on their main channel.
This shit so funny to me because it's only been recently that I've been getting into their gaming channel, so to me I've been doing nothing but eating good getting a new LiS upload just as I finished their last one 😂

I'm just referring to free RU-vid uploads those I'll never understand coz the uploads will eventually come thru coz content creators rarely have a set schedule unless they are spamming like low effort daily videos or something or if the creator is big enough to have an entire editing crew and all the creator does is give the editors the footage. But yeah I digress you get the point where I'm coming from.

Ima keep it 100 , I could very much be wrong by saying this. But I feel like RDC do be working and putting in the effort to all they important projects. They just not showing their work enough in the “ dead space “ after major drops. Meaning: the gaming channel be getting put on hold multiple times for projects when what’s be asked isent to much. Ik making movies takes FOREVER , but someone must got time to edit and upload for the gaming channel to keep it somewhat consistent. They do also got personal lives so that does play a role in it. Where RDC screwed up, is that they inadvertently made Mark the poster child of their brand. This makes it immensely difficult to scale their business because there is only so much time in the day that Mark can spend making content. People come to RDC to see Mark (If you don’t believe me, compare the stream views where Mark is on the stream versus the stream views where everyone else is on the stream. Or compare video views where Mark is on the thumbnail versus video views where everyone else is on the thumbnail). While everyone has their role, it’s clear that Mark is the one who is the most entertaining, which means that if else tries to fulfill that role they will come up short and lose numbers.
‼️‼️‼️‼️ And I think RDC knows this and that’s why they try to push Mark a lot lol they need to slowly push every one else and help teach the long form editing to every one as well. Cause same as Mark being one person, Dylan is too. They need improvement all the way around
I think that’s where the comp edits of the other members helps them out a lot on plug channels. Dyl and Leland are just as entertaining as mark but I didn’t know until I seen clips from the stream over the years
I mentioned once that I actually prefer sometimes (obviously I like it more when all of them are there) but when it's just the 4 of them streaming when Mark is busy... It's immaculate vibes fr. I wish they streamed more and promoted themselves more individually. Like amp etc.
I think it’s because they are working on multiple movies/skits concurrently, which delays when vids come out. Idk how they’re doing it, but if that’s the case, maybe honing in on one project at a time could lead to faster uploads.
Hire/ have one specific member in charge of the gaming channel or editing. Then have a bunch of prerecorded footage you can upload on your most busy days.
ian know dylan was the editor, idk if he enjoys doing it but if he doesn't y'all could get an editor who can get the vids out quicker maybe link w bvnk one of berleezy's editors etc
i know this will never happen but if RDC could play old nintendo classics (zelda etc) that would be a combination of my two favorite kinds of content in one.
fr though like it would help them scale their brand too because they'd be getting content out faster and more consistently, but idk maybe they just prefer it this way
They should just finish these telltale or story games in 2-3 days then edit all of them and put them out instead of just playing one episode getting off and then having to wait until they play the next episode or whatever

The issue is consistency. We know they're busy with other stuff but also take your viewers into consideration. It's borderline disrespectful to just axe or hold off a series that hundreds of thousands of people were enjoying. It's probably better to only upload and record games when you have more time or just hire more hands...

But they do other things… you try writing a manga, writing a movie, writing short films, trying to network in Hollywood, find animators, record games, stream and make skits as soon as something relevant happens.
