@@WolfOfRagnaropen world games one made by rockstar and other made by mighty Bethesda Starfeild was planned for 25 years it is still a good game according to 1998 standards 😂
@@joelstockwell4183 Just because a game can blind people with other shiny bells, doesn’t mean that the features it does possess are easily ignored or ought to be. The online as advertised was utterly grandiose. Additionally, even if you’re a single-player fan, it’s ignorant to only base a game off of what you like. The strength of a game is to deliver to two audiences you target.
Some people might say details like those don't matter when playing, and only matter when you purposefully pay attention to them, to them I say: When you are playing, without paying attention to details, the game immerses you in a world, this immersion needs great care, and those details are crucial to the immersion of a game. When a game lacks such details it creates a bland world that you only see as robots. Rdr2 managed to create what is probably the most immersive world in videogame history, precisely thanks to those details
@@sjustino completely absurd argument, Bethesda didn't create a 1000 planets, they are all procedural, amd when you get in one a map is created so it's not even a full planet like in no man's sky. Stop defending a company for doing a bad job
@@sjustino Bro RDR2 was also released in 2018 and was even playable on xbox one and PS4, the fact Starfield is released in 2023 and is a literal next gen game doesn't make sense for that quality, No Man's Sky has billions of planets with seamless transition all explorable by foot if you want and it's from 2016, also Starfield has like the same POIs, like if you explore a cryolab it's always gonna be the same enemies in the same layout, come on there's no excuse for that type of shit in 2023 with a brand new engine on top of that lmao
@@sjustino Saying they traded details and graphics for content is so incredibly stupid. Rdr2 has an insane amount of content, and so does No man's sky and many other triple A games, you're just searching for excuses, and there are zero excuses for making a gane that's simply poor on details. You're just simply a Bethesda fan boy. Mods are there to improve a game , not to complete the incomplete game you put out
I honestly find it pathetic for the game dev to rely on mod creators to improve their shit game, but i applaud Todd Howard the liar in this one, he knows the Skyrim community, he'll make this game in bare minimum and let the mod creator improve it themselves. Less work for them, more work for mod creator.
If Starfield was a indie game I could see people being more chill with it But Bethesda spent over 5 years on this game Rockstar may take a decade to release a game But they put time to make the game feel real Edit: ok maybe I got a bit mad there its just these recent years companies have done very bad jobs to listen to their fans and maybe starfield will hopefully improve the game overtime
Starfield doesn't suck because of its lack of details. You'd be lying to say anyone cares about this sort of stuff in a Bethesda game for crying out loud. It was never their forte. It sucks because what Bethesda did good they did badly in starfield. In other Bethesda games the freedom, exploration, and the world lore was interesting and engaging. Starfield barely has any of this.
@@TurnerTurnip You just have a brain dead outlook on gaming. You can’t appreciate all the small details that make RDR2 such a cut above the rest. You probably have no patience whatsoever in games and always have to constantly be shooting, rushing, fighting, etc. This game is a mature gamers dream come true, something you’ll never understand in your sad life
Both big companies Starfield was in development over 7 years... RDR2 was in development for 8 years... One plays like an indie One plays like a triple A game
Game developer of starfield literally said he wanted to make this game for 25 years but they didn't have technology and they started 15 year ago and this garbage came out so what the hell are you talking about?
I feel like modern games need to recognize the importance that RDR2 had on the open world community, and it should be the model for upcoming open world games, much like how cod was for Fps
Exactly, which is why im happy CD Projekt Red have done a lot of work overhauling Cyberpunk. Its very good now and sets a better standard than a lot of other devs
holy fuck I knew about the food and NPC's in rdr2 but I still never saw that "food fall from the fork, then NPC picks it *back* up" animation. Game is literally WILD. GTA 6 NAO PLZZ!!!!
@@Pigeonbutt and the fact that Rockstar has literally patented a new AI tech for NPCs in GTA 6 sounds even more "Scary" when we look at the normal NPCs in RDR2.
If anyone else released starfield other than bethesda, the gaming community would he shitting on it so hard lol... fallout 76 was worse than cyberpunk even skyrim when it first released was more buggy than cyberpunk
@@dkm4567 Not much to elaborate. The gameplay was extremely boring. The only thing good about the game was the graphics and the voice acting. Both were top notch.
8:02 some are which is just another amazing detail the city folks like in Saint Denis and blackwater for the most part will try and flee because they are upper class and don’t know how to fight but in the country like Rhodes and Valentine it’s towns of farmhands and hard workers so of course they would
RDR2 has really set the bar for me. Everytime I wanna compare something it’s always RDR2 or TLOU2 to something. Though I am enjoying Starfield. RDR2 and TLOU2 really changed up the game, have yet to see another graphically like it or as immersive game. StarField immerses me, but in a role playing sense instead of a storytelling sense like RDR and TLOU, of course.
So, game are consuming more VRAM, meaning you have to buy more expensive GPUs, but at the same time getting worse in quality. That's great! Cheers to capitalism!
2:27 прям жалко стало этого персонажа. Я видел на его лице и в его действиях страх за жизнь. У меня прям к ниму появилась эмпатия. Вот, что значит правдоподобный мир и персонажы.
The blood and gore in Starfield is literally the most disappointing thing in the entire game for me, no exageration. I don't even feel like i'm actually killing someone its like im shooting them with a bb gun
When a game needs tons of mods and patches in order to be "better" than the base version (Cyber$hit, Stalefield, etc.) then you've failed as a developer. Bethesda truley is the most overhyped studio in gaming and Todd "it just works" Howard isn't the genius people make him out to be.
Cyberpunk2077 had gorgeous art direction even when the game suffered from too many bugs and felt 20% finished- Starfield doesn't look pretty imo but the detailed fruit looks yummy
Единственная игра которая может превзойти РДР2 это ГТА6 и та ещё не вышла, но самое пугающее что эта игра от той же студии, так что РДР2 ещё года 3 не догонят
Starefield doesn't even have a solid frame to relay on, they will need to remade the whole game from scratch to modify history, game balance, character progression, universe background, character background, history progression, events, cities, fast travel, simply everything!
I was sad I wasn't going to be able to play Starfield because I had a PS5. After seeing the game post launch all I can is I'm ready for Spiderman on Friday.
Although I will say that in the grenades exploding in water comparison. That the RDR2 dynamite shouldn't explode in water since water would extinguish the flame. But it is silly that Starfield's grenades don't cause a ripple effect considering ITS NOT A LIT FUSE. Another game with a western setting is Hunt:Showdown which has lit fuse dynamite variations that don't explode in water completely. (Unless it's a waxed dynamite.) I would also like to add that it's insane how starfield doesn't have glass breaking on bullet impact. As I've recently played Splinter Cell (2002) and Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow (2004). Those games are atleast two decades old and those games have glass which breaks on bullet impact. Not even on the first bullet either. The first bullet gives it a shatter texture. Depending on the size of the glass it can take more than two bullets too!
RDR2 is the ONLY game that I still did not go for a second playthrough because the game is soooooo freaking good. I am a remorseless guy who slaughters NPC for fun but there was this one random event in RDR2 where a robber killed the husband and left the wife in the road. Her crying broke me so bad that I stopped my mission, restarted a checkpoint but the event did not repeat.
Some people wake up and choose to compare a masterpiece to a cheap garbage and its funny both games have same size of 120gb and one of them can completely run smooth on a hdd and give 10 times better performance than the other and also have 100 times better graphics and details
Bethesda management: Let’s just use this ancient engine because we don’t want to invest to build a new modern engine or to train our employee to use free engine like Unreal or Unity
I like starfield alot, but Like the previous comments i made over the years RDR2 is realy in its own class😂. i mean from the start 'Rockstar said, an organic liveable environment '. And up to this day the detail! Of this game is on another level!! From now please do not compare RdR2 to any game 😮 it should be forbidden!!
It pisses me off that they are selling starfield for 89.99 CAD while RDR2 was 79.99 when it came out on PC. Like RDR2 is legit worth $100 and I'd pay only $40 max for starfield
I'm not just talking about Starfield, but I always find people who hate these simpler games a bit annoying because they don't have the same level as Rdr2
